“Jack and his team provide a superb service, tailoring and amending details of our holiday to fit our specific criteria, sometimes on multiple occasions. There is obviously a passion towards their commitment in delivering the best possible experience for their customers. We would wholeheartedly recommend Balkan Escape to anyone. Our dual-centre holiday to Dubrovnik and Sipan was exactly what we wanted. We utterly fell in love with both areas, and would visit again in a heartbeat.”

“We booked through Balkan as we wanted to see a as much of Croatia as possible but did not have any ides where to start. Jack was fab at responding to all of my queries and asks throughout the process and managed to achieve exactly what we wanted (even when we didnt really know). The holiday went super smoothly with someone waiting on arrival for us at each location, to take us to the right place. It was perfectly organized. I would highly recommend this company and we will certainly be using again!”

“Excellent service provided by Jack. The itinerary was very good and overall the choice of hotels, guides and transfers were good For future 1. Walking to hotels from boat fir aged people with two bags on cobbled roads sometimes uphill. Can be a struggle. Luckily I used Uber but I think it would be wise to add use customers accordingly Vegetarian food could have been a problem and none of them had the request on their system. However we managed as I talked to hotels in advance The car Hite idea was much better and easy to get across plus flexibility The above points are minor and would definitely recommend you in future Last but nit least really impressed that Jack was answering emails and calls at the weekend”

“I would highly recommend Balkan Escape. We went to Croatia and stayed in Split, Brac and Dubrovnik and in each place, Jack had listened carefully to our requirements as the hotels were perfect. Our various transfers by both taxi and catamaran ran smoothly and the suggestions for activities were helpful. We were caught up in the UK air traffic control issues and were particularly glad to have used a travel agent, rather than having booked independently as when our flight was delayed overnight, Jack responded immediately and was able to find us accommodation quickly so that this experience was as stress-free as possible. Overall, would definitely recommend Balkan Escape.”

“The organisation & communication prior to our holiday was first-class. All our transfers arrived on time (even if the first driver won the grumpy old man award!) & got us to our destinations on time. Both hotels were in a fantastic location & were great in terms of facilities & service. We particularly rated the friendly service in Hotel Piran. We had a superb time in Slovenia & would definitely use Jack again. Highly recommended!”

“I cannot rate Jack at Balkan Escape highly enough. From my initial enquiry, he listened carefully to my brief & came up with a proposed itinerary with three different accomodation options at different price points for a one week, 2 centre holiday in Croatia, combining Dubrovnik & an island. The proposal was quick, well presented and within budget. Crucially, we did not want to stay in a large hotel in DBV, but wanted a boutique hotel with a pool. We stayed at Bova Luxury Rooms, which was spot on, lovely rooms, great pool (shared with Orka Apartments, but never busy), close enough to get the bus or walk into Dubrovnik old town, but close to Lapad for restaurants. The harbourside location will be lovely when the marina works are completed! Jack then suggested Hotel Bozica on Sipan island - again perfect for us. All transfers were seamless and on time. Jack answered all my queries clearly & quickly, & managed to book us the perfect table at the Panorama restaurant by the cable car in DBV when I couldn't get through. I would thoroughly recommend Balkan Escape, and will definitely book through them again.”

“I cannot recommend Balkan Escapes, and Jack especially, highly enough. What started as a tentative enquiry for ideas quickly became a well planned week holiday. With no experience of the region it would have taken me hours to get the knowledge that Jack was able to impart in no time. We to-ed and fro-ed a bit on hotel, but ultimately (and quickly) his recommendations were perfect for a mother/daughter trip: 3 days in a really fabulous b&b in Split (which lives up to its fantastic TripAdvisor reviews) and then 4 days in a gorgeous Dubrovnik hotel which my 15 year old was delighted to see was being featured at the same time by one of her TikTokers who was there on holiday, A real treat, all transfers catered for and with perfect instructions for each leg of the journey. Would definitely use again.”

“Balkan Escape booked us a wonderful 10 day holiday starting in Split, moving onto the island of Korcula and then finishing in Dubrovnik. All went very smoothly. The hotel facilities were good and were in good locations. We enjoyed our stays in all three. Originally, we had chosen a hotel at Dubrovnik Marina but Jack kindly let us know about over-running roadworks outside this hotel that would affect our stay there. He offered to change our hotel and gave us another two options to choose from. We would highly recommend using Balkan Escape to book your holiday because of the excellent customer service we received and would definitely use them again in the future.”

“As someone who likes to do all the organising, it was a massive leap of faith to put arrangements for the main holiday this year in someone else's hands! But we wanted to see as much of Croatia as we could and the multiple venue nature of the holiday was doing my head in, as was trying to get the flights we wanted. Jack took care of all of it. We did Split (3 nights), Korcula (4) and Dubrovnik (3). For each stop we were given multiple choices of hotel depending on what we were looking for and ideas for what to do. Each hotel was exactly what we wanted - the quality and location for each was spot on. Jack literally took care of everything, right down to checking us in on our flights. Would thoroughly recommend Balkan Escapes and we're already thinking about Slovenia and Montenegro next Summer.”
