“This small family firm is an absolute joy to deal with-they are lovely. Their back door shoes are fabulous-the only issue I have is that they are so comfortable I forget to take them off at the back door! Don’t hesitate to buy a pair - they are brilliant.”

“Excellent and comfortable shoes - on third pair so long lasting. Only criticism for the Women's clogs - would like the brighter ones in larger sizes - 9. Each change to the designs has been an improvement.”

“I am very pleased with my pebbles clogs. I ordered size 10 as advised as I am normally a size 9. I had to return them for a Size 11 because they were still too small but the exchange fits perfectly. Good customer service backup as well”

“Love the clogs and have three pairs ! They are very hard wearing and great for as they state slipping on to go out in the garden I have recently purchased a plain white pair to wear to beach in the summer . They are true to size and in my opinion good value . Also very comfortable”

“Very pleased with my Backdoorshoes. Definitely need to go one size larger. They squeek when walking on hard flooring but are very comfy. I previously had some which lasted years so I'm a fan. They are perfect to slip on for indoor and outdoor use. Just wipe clean with a damp sponge.”

Thank you so much for the review- We apologise for the squeaky insoles . It affected a small batch and is very easy to fix immediately . Just sprinkle the underside of your insoles with talcum powder - Best regards Stephen

“Such a clever idea that my garden shoes parked at the back door are so pretty . I chose the daisy pattern cos I like daisies but it was a tough choice of funky styles. Delivery was prompt and the thought behind the shoe bag was totally original and I am thinking they would make great gifts. Its super to support a small UK business, thank you .”

“I have two pairs of backdoor shoes, one with extra grip to use outside and one 'pretty pair' to use in the house as they give my feet the extra support that I don't get from slippers.”

“Not as good as my original pair which I had for many years. The new ones although the same size as the old ones are much stiffer and I had to remove the insoles to be able to get them on at all. I am persevering with them but rather disappointed overall. Sorry to tell you this but you did ask for a review.”

Hello Sonia , thank you for the review - Obviously we are disappointed that it wasn’t 5 star like almost all of our reviews . We have been making them for almost 20 years from the same material and they are always a little stiff to begin but become soft very quickly . We are very happy for you to email and send an image to us and we will of course resolve straight away . It’s not usual that they should be difficult to get on.
