“AskHerFriends.com is a great website, the gift I got for my mum's birthday was £10 cheaper than any seller on Amazon and because of the free next day delivery I saved about £18 (22% inc. delivery), confirmation emails came quickly and the item arrived on time.”

“I placed an order on September the 9th - nine days later and I still have not received one of the products. Very, poor service. You should make it clear on your website that it could take over a week to process and deliver an order. This was for a birthday gift and I have now had to go and buy a second gift - from another website I might add - to give to my friend. Please address this issue.”

Hi Rebecca, we're very sorry that this has happened. The order was accepted and shipped on Tuesday, which I agree is a little late but should have still reached you on Wednesday, which is five working days after you placed the order. We say it will take three to five working days on our delivery terms. I'm not sure why it still hasn't reached you - the free delivery option you chose doesn't have tracking as standard. Unless our customers let us know that there's an issue, we have to assume that the order has arrived safely. We have your details so someone will follow up privately, but just wanted to reply to your concerns here, as our customer service is very important to us. Charlotte.

“Helped me out when stuck for ideas. I chose a couple of things and they both arrived quickly and were as described. I was promised free delivery, but this didn't work. I emailed the company and they refunded my PayPal account happily. Thank you!”

Hi Fiona, and many thanks for the review. I have checked the order and spoken to the seller - it was an unacceptably long time for the order to be delivered, the item was out of stock and they were waiting new stock. We should have known, and kept you informed. Regarding the payment, the bank charges your card immediately, which is fairly standard, but then holds the payment for 14 days, for your protection, in case you need a refund. Anyway, apologies again for the delay, we'll try harder in future and work on letting you know if there is a delay, and why!
