I just bought a few items at self service and there were no bags available for me to grab myself so I asked someone at customer services and she didn’t say a word to me and seemed rude when she went to hand the bag over I went to grab it but she handed it to another lady working in self service to scan it for me and this lady also seemed rude like I wernt capable of grabbing the bag and doing it myself. I know a lot of people steal bags but I’d rather she just watched me scan it than making it seem like I’m not capable, both just seemed very rude and wasn’t very nice customer service at all

Dropped into buy a few bits and asked for help at the amazing customer service. Helpful, friendly and went out of their way to help me and my son. Made him super happy. Can’t thank the lovely lady who helped him. Final a bottle of Prime! Made his day.

Security are very unprofessional. A shop lifter was told to leave the store by one which is fair enough. The shop lifter didnt argue, went to get on her scooter and be on her way. But then a large blonde female security decided to put her piece in, really shout at this person leaving her crying and humiliated. It was painful to see and in front of little ones. I personally think that's morally wrong.

I’ve been shopping at Basildon Pipps Hill for 3 years now and I’ve noticed that during that time they are running out of stock, this week was the worst with at least 6 items were not on the shelf - I’m considering changing - although I think it’s a managerial problem!

I'm done with Asda Pipps Hill, tried ordering twice off of them now. Once through uber eats got 3 of my items out of 12 whilst having to isolate. Was charged a fiver for the privilege. Today my order was cancelled 4 hours before delivery and have to wait 24hrs for my money to go back into my account. Called customer service to find out why and had the phone put down on me. Disgusting shop, tesco all the way for me from now on.

Security staff physically assaulted my son and threatened to kill him in front of a shop full of customers. Asda tried to bribe him to not call the police with a measly box of chocolates. Asda chose to give the police the worst possible footage so as not to incriminate their staff who doesn’t even hold an SIA license. Customer service non existent, complained several times but been ignored throughout. Awful despicable behaviour. Absolutely disgusting!

Can I say just a big thank you to all your staff in this horrible time. Working extremely hard but equally as usual extremely helpful. Your young porter jay is so helpful. Just thank you. Just one suggestion as we all know we have to queue and as most people are scared or miserable can you maybe rig up your radio or music outside while people are queuing. I bet you would find so much more cheery customers. We can all have a boogie while in line 😁😁😁

The shopping experience at this store is great, however it is spoiled immensely by the experience in the cafe!!!! My daughter and I visit this store most weeks and usually end with a coffee whilst using the time before we pick up her son from school. I say coffee but actually there has been NO coffee machine working for around 2MONTHS now!!!! All they can offer is a cup of Nescafé?? This cafe, actually, hasn’t been worth a visit since the last man left that aged it, he was popular, friendly, competent and the food and drinks flowed. I have no problem with the staff there now, apart from the fact that there aren’t enough of them, but I do not understand why it’s taken so long to replace or repair the machine. We have taken to rushing through the shopping now and visiting Costa across the way.

This Asda is always clean and well stocked. The clothing department is big and bright. The downside is the lack of parking. The car park is very small.
