Ordered a printer, was faulty and wouldn't connect to WiFi, went to return where they refused to accept saying SN doesn't match number on the box, rang customer services from the store was on the phone for over 45 minutes only for them to say they can't do anything, store refused return and I'm down £35 and im stuck with a faulty printer.

I was scammed by this company because they are now telling me that they didn't collect the item during the return process, however, they did. Be aware that if they have problems - they will hang up the problem on you. I ordered a wardrobe on the 17th of December 2023, they first delivered the item in the wrong color. I asked for a change of the item, then they delivered the item in the wrong color again. I started to struggle with the return finally because couldn't wait for more than 1 month to get the correct wardrobe. It took them 2 or 3 weeks to make a collection, which was finally done on the 1st of February, but without any messages, emails, or confirmations - just phone calls (you need to record them if you decide to order something). Now it's 12 March 2024 and this company still hasn't sent me any refund and started to tell me that they didn't collect the item and can't issue a refund. I assume that they operate illegally and scam their customers who want to return anything. Be aware of that, please. I'll go to court even though the sum of the order and money that I lost wasn't large (£322.95).

I received a recommendation from my sister about a crypto recovery expert team called Hackspeditous when I lost over $266,000 to a crypto scam. Initially, everything was going well, and I was making reasonable profits. However, after three months, I started facing several issues, which eventually led to me being unable to access my account. I consulted some teams that I thought could help me, yet it only resulted in a series of extortions. I had to deal with everything privately. One night, while having a lengthy conversation with my sister about financial security, I shared my troubles with her. She advised me to consult external experts, and Hackspeditous was one of the teams she suggested. She provided their email as a medium of contact, and I followed the instructions, after which I received feedback from the team a few hours later. They asked me a few questions and gave me some instructions, which I followed through with. Within a week, I was able to recover my money, and I'm glad I didn't hesitate to follow through with this team. Sending an email to (hackspeditously @ gmail. com) has given me a turnaround in my finances. I'm elated to share this news with everyone and offer the same medium to anyone who might need it. Don't hesitate to reach out today. You can contact them through email: (hackspeditously @ gmail .com) or WhatsApp: +1 5 6 7 2 4 6 3 1 1 7.

Apparently couldn't get van down the street to deliver washer so delivery man called and I couldn't hear a word he was saying and he just hung up on me. Had to call Argos support twice today to get answers because wasn't informed of everything and turns out it's not even being delivered today! Completely unclear. Sort your phone lines and clarity out! We will NOT be ordering from Argos again until this is sorted. I did not get an apology or anything and Argos customer support was a headache to navigate and the phone operators were not helpful or nice.

Most disappointing experience I've ever had with a major retailer. 5 phone calls over 2 months to achieve little. Ordered 3 wardrobes to fit in a line on my wall. 2 arrived. Final 1 was meant to come, kept getting text updates it's on it's way, then another saying it's delayed and to wait until 9pm (stayed in all day on my day off). Never arrived. Next day the item status said delivered. Call 1: Contacted Argos who said there was a technical error on their end, and the item is lost, and none in stock. Was promised a refund and a £20 gesture of good will. Neither arrived. 1 week later, Call 2: Informed them neither received. Was told the previous customer service rep didn't action it properly, and the new one I spoke to had done this and guaranteed it'll be with me and I won't need to call again. Neither arrived. 2 weeks later, Call 3: Called again, neither received, was given an apology and told it will be escalated. Refund on item (but NOT a refund on £7 delivery fee), and £20 gesture of good will received. 1 week later, Call 4: Informed I did not receive my delivery fee refunded despite not even receiving my delivery. Received an apology and was told this would be actioned. Wardrobe also back in stock but now more expensive, was told I can get in touch to after re-ordering and have the price difference refunded. Asked if I can use my £20 gesture of good will for this and if this will be taken into account too or if I should save it for a separate order in future. Was told I can use the £20 and to explain this when getting in touch again and it'll be refunded (spoke to a named rep) 1 week later, Call 5: Asked politely to escalate to manager, spoke to Melissa. Delivery fee refund was actioned (still waiting for it), and was told that the additional £20 gesture of good will cannot be reclaimed. Overall, I got the cupboard for £6.00 less than the original price, by using the gesture of good will, but despite what the named rep said on my previous call, Melissa said this cannot be refunded, and said goodbye. Conclusion: Extremely time-consuming, inconvenient, dishonest delivery updates, misleading customer service representatives, and unprofessional rude manager. Worst experience I've had with a major retailer. Will never use again, and will advise all others to also avoid.

Wish I could give no stars! Diabolical service and false advertising. The app said my item was available from the next day but once I ordered (and they had my money) the receipt said not available until next week. The chat service is pointless and they don’t refund for up to 7 days. They must make money just from the money they keep while waiting to refund you. Lesson learnt, never again.

I ordered a electric cooker from them with connection and recycling the old cooker, but it took a month to deliver it to me but it was the one I wanted so was prepared to wait. When they delivered it the ceramic top was cracked so I couldn't use it so they took back and also took my old cooker, saying someone would call to organise a new delivery date for a replacement which fine. It took 48hrs to get back to me saying the cooker was no longer in stock so would refund my money. they offered £30 off the installation of another cooker but they wanted £200 pound for another installation and delivery and recycle charge. That was way above the original charge which surprised me but customer service said even though they have left me with no means of cooking my only option was to order a new cooker and they could do nothing more.

AVOID FOR BULKY ITEMS AND WASHING… AVOID FOR BULKY ITEMS AND WASHING MACHINES!!! They will take your money in a fraction of a second but make your life a living hell to attempt to return a faulty item. Bought a washing machine which stained and ripped clothes, Argos say we have to talk to HOTPOINT to be able to return item? (Blatant infringement of returns policy). Thankfully, I kept records of all phonecalls. Passed between the two companies every day for two weeks like a joke. Hotpoint finally advised us to get a washing machine cleaner 😂. Eventually an engineer sent out, who verified that the drum needs replacement. Still no communication from either company, both say they are waiting for each other. TL;DR DON'T BUY APPLIANCES FROM ARGOS IF YOU WANT YOUR RIGHTS TO BE INFRINGED AND TO BE TAKEN FOR A JOKE.

Poor service and liars Poor service... biggest liars sitting in argos. They product was a gift for my kids... which they were desperately waiting, I had place order back in Jan and ealiest date for delivery was 7th Feb 24 and on the day the driver call and said they are running late and will delivered later during the day and after sometime received text that they tried to delivered but failed to delivered, I call the driver straight away but he didn't answer and then i called customer service about it and said there is already someone at home and the driver is lieing and as usual they are helpless and cluess and said that i need to rebook what amaze me was next, she told me i have to call after 24hrs, i called it now and they told its out of stock and now they said refund is option after call us after 15 days to rebook when it might be in stock. And said I can launch a claim and can get compensation but you know what I have to call again for it... its a joke ... just a big company and this is how they work... I think that's the reason the companies in uk as sutting down

Have been sent from pillar to post about an order I placed nearly a week ago. They can’t tell me where it is, it was supposed to have arrived at the very latest, days ago. But what’s worse is the shoddy system they work with, which must be just as frustrating for the staff as it is for the customer. - In person staff at click and collect don’t have any details of how to track orders, just a handheld device that says number and yes/no - the Phone customer service is just awful, you key in the order number dozens of times and it still doesn’t go through. Voice recognition is rubbish. In the end they refuse your call, because the machine thinks you haven’t keyed in anything - online chat deals with home delivery. Not click and collect. They are the most helpful in a sense they tell you what you want to hear. But not what you need to hear, such as the status of your order. Argos, you are a massive company and a household brand. Surely you can hire staff to pick up the phone or engineers to improve on your tracking systems (and that appalling phone answering)

Natisha who I spoke to was great a great professional and she’s trying her best to work with a broken system to honour our order after waiting 3 months to fulfill an order Natisha alone deserves a medal for her calm demeanour . However Argos have been a total let down I have been waiting for delivery for a washer dryer since NOVEMBER due to the ineffective system you have with DHL and a lack of transit vans you’re expecting me to wait a further 3 weeks making it the 4the month I would be waiting for an item I paid that was not cheap - that’s immoral as we have. Disabled people in our family in need of usage of a washer dryer it’s immoral and despite having spent over 1500. 00 in just a few months I will make sure that this is the last item I buy if I don’t get my order - order number delivered ASAP this week it’s stressful and immoral -my order number is 251927618 please resolve this asap.

Never written an actual review on Argos themselves. Having grown up with Argos I have considered them to be one of the primary shops to purchase items from homeware to electronics/computer related items. Their prices are competitive, but also the convenience is generally great.TZ

Argos , delivery company Panther, lost my mattress in the warehouse 5 weeks ago and still waiting. Ordered a mattress on 26th November 2023 Guaranteed normally within 14 days . Was booked for Saturday 16th December, Friday 15th got my text with delivery time . . Saturday 16th we get a text message. We're sorry your Argos Ltd order has not reached your depot in time for delivery. We'll call you within 48 hours to rebook. We received this text on the Monday and Wednesday. That night we received the text to re- book . To set up a date for your sparkly new Argos Ltd items to be delivered. So booked it for Saturday 23rd December 2023. I got a phone call from Panther there delivery company for Argos to admit it did arrive and it had been lost in the warehouse. As it was now Christmas they needed to re order a mattress and I would need to book another delivery day in January, which I booked Saturday 13th which was the earliest weekend I could book. But then I received a phone call on Monday the 8th January to say they don't deliver to my postcode on Saturdays!!!! Absolute joke as I had already booked up on line for this mattress 3 times and they had lost it. So no weekend delivery now and only week day free for us was Friday 19th January 2024. And waiting and waiting for a delivery slot so I can make sure we have a family member ready a waiting to finally take delivery, only to receive the text message at 9.30pm at night. Fingers crossed now it gets delivered in the morning as promised. Originally Panther said we would receive an email the next day to sort. As yet not one single email or phone call to apologise. It's been a nightmare as out new bed arrived from Argos on the 18th of December and it's been sat taking up valuable space as we can't build it as no mattress for it . I want an apology, some compensation for all the hassle, time wasteted, and lies from panther that it was lost by them . Or probably stollen conveniently just in time for Christmas. It would be appreciated if Argos do contact us

Order number is 6636520696 I bought a coffee machine from Argos online (for £299) with a an insurance cover(£62). I used Argos card to pay. The machine was faulty. I took it back to Argos Smelly Oak where they refunded me £299 for the price of the machine. The nice lady there were not able to issue the refund of the insurance policy, so she asked us to contact Argos online store. That was at the end of November 2023. We contacted Argos online and they asked us to contact the insurance company DOMESTIC AND GENERAL for the refund. We did that and the insurance company said that they will issue the refund. It was 2 weeks ago when Argos card started chasing me for the payment. I called and explained and they said Don't worry, we already left some notes and you will not be charged any interest as we are aware of the case. We called the insurance company and they promised that refund is coming in few days. Today I realised Argos card started charging me interest for a late payment!! Now the insurance company is refusing to refund me and they opened a dispute with Argos. Argos are charging me an interest for a late payment and they are saying I have to contact the insurance company for the refund!!! I bought the machine and the insurance cover from Argos using Thier Argos credit card. I just new about the name of the insurance company from them. I made tens of calls , hours of nonsense talk with different people from different departments in vain. The worst shopping experience ever! Order number is 6636520696
