Communications were not ideal. Some of the links to my account did not work. Two items within my order arrived damaged. When I did make contact, to try to find out when my order might arrive, my enquiry was dealt with quickly & professionally.

Courier company DX are terrible. Rearranged delivery and they still attempted to deliver on the day I didn't want. They then left my parcel on my doorstep for well over 12 hours which I don't think is acceptable considering I sued the correct methods. Items have been missing from my orders. Food beyond perishable that should never have been sold. Alot of items are not actually much cheaper if you do your research.

You blow hot and cold. Sometimes brilliant sometimes NOT. Please please please learn to pack properly. 5 layers of cardboard held together with packing tape necessitates the use of a Stanley knife to get into a box holding crisps. WHY? I have to unpack and then dispose of what feels like half a ton of cardboard. GET REAL

Approved Food can be a fun way of buying reduced foodstuff that's close to its use-by date. But watch out for items that have expired longer than a month or so ago. You will notice an impairment to the flavour. This year, they have not been doing so well on fulfilling a whole order. It can be irritating when the order arrives and several things are missing.

Good delivery this time, but the previous two deliveries have either been damaged so badly that the delivery driver advised I shouldn't accept it, or lost. Hopefully this latest delivery is a sign of improvement.

I paid for chicken soup and you send a minestrone soup.What is that ??I paid for a certain item and you treated me like I was in queue to a foodbank.At least you should send a message saying we were run out ot that stock would you prefer something else..

Approved foods may be ok but there delivery company of choice DX needs to be looked into, First delivery day Tue nothing then told Wednesday again nothing then told Thursday nope O coming Friday now, again nothing, contacted DX direct told coming today Saturday you guessed it nothing, 6 days none deliverys even finally got my delivery 13 days after putting order in, the food is out of date but a lot more so, by time delivery comes, check reviews for DX

Check your order carefully, twice I have had parts of my order missing. When I requested the missing items were sent, I was advised they were out of stock. You can imagine my surprise when later that day I get an email telling me one of the items is one of their current deals! Check the price as some things are cheaper elsewhere, and have a much longer 'use by date'. I wont be using them again.

Approve Food were very good pre-pandemic until everyone and their dog went crazy buying everything. So there’s very rarely any bargains any more because supply and demand keeps the prices high. Watch out for their infamous ‘Lucky Dip’ in which they pretend to offer all the varieties of a product range. They originally offer all the flavours separately then when they are left with the unpopular flavour that very few like, they group all the flavours together as a supposed ‘lucky dip’ but it’s their dishonest way of getting rid of the flavour nobody wants. Try it…..if you don’t believe me. Anyhoo, I used to recommend this company but rarely do now due to the poor choice and prices nowadays. If you want a real bargain, camp at the local supermarkets cheap shelf :p

Item ordered saying the number left....but none. So instead of refunding you get a credit. Surely non-supply should be refunded ?

Hit and miss - unfortunately the customer service is rubbish when it’s a miss. Company doesn’t call back, keep promises, follow up or make amends. When everything goes to plan it’s great. I’ve had 2 straightforward orders and one that was a total fiasco. So - order at your own risk and keep your fingers crossed!

The food and drinks etc are as good as you would buy from any supermarket. Perfectly good quality and taste the same. I'm not sure I will buy from them agai though as the delivery company DX is shocking. Everytime I have damaged items. This time they delivered a box 3 days late with no communication at all it arrived slashed open badly shrink wrapped with all the petfood spilling over the floor. The first box had 2 big bags of onion rings which were flattened and burst open, everything else was covered in these. The driver was very apologetic he was embarrassed to deliver it. I needed the food if ran out so I reluctantly accepted it. Would be a 5 star review if not for constant delivery problems

2nd time using Approved Food, first time in 2017 was perfect but this time I didn't hear anything after approx 5 days so I contacted Approved Food who said they had no record of my order and asked if I had a transaction ID. Luckily I had this in my emails and after they looked in to it, my order was sat in temporary instead of being processed. They had to manually push the order through and processed my order. No offer of anything for their error.

Very please with most of the good but a bit disapointed on my last order on the way it was packed as there was cat food pouches in the same box as oxo cubes and slimfast bars and M&M.s ans other bits,one cat food pouch was leaking on them.

Good selection of items but feel let down by service and delivery times. Took over a week from order to delivery and was advised it was due to “current circumstances”, although if referring to Covid this has been going on for a long time. Items were well packaged and was next day delivery from date of “picking” so pretty good. All in all an average experience but will not put me off trying another order.

First time ordering was an easy process also used discount from MSE. Some products were very good- short date. Couldn’t eat the out of date products as too stale tasting.

The website is not comfortable for shopping as other websites, like if I add something to the basket I only have 30 minutes to checkout (that is limiting my time) to chose more things to buy, as a result I had to add the items for more than 3 times to my basket, firstly chose them then go back to the basket and keep scrolling on pages to find the things again I liked to add them at once in my basket and then rushed to checkout, that wasted half of my day. However, prices are fine not low but a bit less than usual. The website should have an option for liked/watched items.
