This was a £50 bunch of flowers but I could have matched it with a £10 bunch from ASDA. I would not recommend to anyone

Dear Mike, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your valued feedback. We are very sorry to learn of your disappointment with your bouquet. We strive at achieving customer satisfaction and high quality with all our orders, and we clearly did not succeed on this occasion. For Mother's Day I ordered the Grace bouquet that was on promotion through the Virhin Red app at half price, one for my Mum and one for my Step-Mum. I visited my Mum on the day hers were delivered and was really disappointed with the flowers. The edges of the rose petals were brown, one of the two white flowers had a broken stem immediately below the head and overall the bouquet looked very tired and battered. None of the blooms looked fresh and most were at the throw out stage only 3 days after delivery. By comparison the bouquet that my Step-Mum looked much fresher, brighter and bigger and the flowers lasted a good week after delivery. I did contact Appleyard regarding my disappointment and sent photos. They immediately said that they would send a second bouquet plus some chocolates to myum. However, within 24 hours I then got an email telling me that they had refunded me instead. Pity that I had already told my Mum to expect another bouquet plus the bonus chocolates. I believe that Appleyard were somewhat overwhelmed with orders due to their offer available through the Virgin Red app and therefore their standards slipped. That said, I won't be using them again.

Was informed some of the flowers were wilted/dead upon arrival. Disappointed

My flowers were delivered a day late for mother's day even though I ordered it to be delivered the day before. I sent an email complaining and have received no reply. Very disappointed in the level of service.

Flowers where sent to my Mum for Mothers Day. The roses where already fully open and overall bouquet didn't last 5 days. I am in correspondence with your customer services regarding this. I would have been fuming if I had paid £50 for this bouquet.

We ordered flowers for Mother for Mother's Day, it was her first week in the nursing home. The flowers arrived in the morning, as we paid for 'early morning' delivery. HOwever the vase which was part of the arrangement and the note were missing. We emailed Appleyard immediately following and to this date we haven't heard back from customer service. We are very reluctant to order again which is a pity as we really like the design direction of the company.

Horrible flowers arrived on Mother's day, tried to email them but noone answered. Completely different from the snazzy photos, also they missed out some flowers that should have been included in the bouquet. Paid a premium price for a not so premium bouquet, it was like supermarket flowers! Will not be able to rely on them again.

The delivery service was good but I was disappointed with the flowers as they had started to wilt.

Flowers arrived in very poor condition, took over a week to respond to my complaint and still yet to receive my complementary bunch. Yes I may have got good deal via cash back but the customer service has been appalling and inexcusable

Nice flowers but a bit over priced and terrible costomer care. Tried multiple times to get in touch about delivery. After calling/email several times, finally received an email 3 days after the flowers were delivered to say they couldn't help. I won't be returning

You guaranteed the flowers would last at least 7 days when I purchased them, however they barely lasted 5 and were dead by the end of the week. Very disappointed considering how much I paid for them

I would rather not write a review as I am truly disappointed that the gift I ordered flowers and wine was not complete. I understand that Grace received the flowers but the wine was missing. I also wrote two emails but no response from your company. This makes me very reluctant to use your company in the future. Sorry. I felt embarrassed,

Ordered flowers for my mum for Mother's Day and specified to leave them on the doorstep if she wasn't home. They were not left on the doorstep and returned to the post office where my mum couldn't get to for 2 days, in which time they had died as weren't kept in water at the post office! So I basically sent my mum dead flowers for Mother's Day oops!!

I was so disappointed with both deliveries. I thought for the amount of money paid that they would not come squashed in a box. I thought that there would have been more flowers included than what there were so when the delivery came it looked quite miserable. I'm glad that I had the flowers delivered to me first so that I could try and make them look a bit healthier. I'm so sorry for the negative review but I was really unpleasantly surprised.

I was a bit disapointed to be honest. I paid for delivery before noon and the flowers arrived at 1.30. I did get a refund when I complained, but I was initially only offered a part refund in vouchers. And the flowers, whilst they looked lovely, they only lasted a couple of days. They weren't cheap - so I expected a bit more. Shame

Whilst the flowers were delivered within the requested timeframe, the bouquet had already started to decay within 24 hours of their arrival. This is despite having them placed in the presentation jug containing water. I am still awaiting a response from Customer Services regarding this matter.

I was satisfied it was delivered as arranged, however the orchid I ordered was meant to be in a white ceramic pot with love heart on it. It was in a standard metal pot. I have tried to contact by telephone several times but holding on line for about ten mins each time ! I would appreciate you looking into this and sending the ceramic love heart pot to the delivery address please

Most of the flowers were wilting when they arrived and the whole arrangement dead after 3 days.

Unfortunately the flowers that were delivered were dying already which was very disappointing particularly as they were a present for somebody. I was told that they should come back to life if the care instructions are followed. Whilst this might be the case first impressions always count and it wasn't great for the person receiving them. Flowers should always arrive fresh. I had a further order the same week and fortunately these also arrived in the same condition which was equally disappointing. After spending some considerable time trying to get in touch and get a response from Appleyard I have now received a full refund. Unfortunately I will not be purchasing any further flowers from them due to the quality and difficulty trying to get in touch with their customer service team.
