My worst nightmare these men of no experience of packing. I am here 3 weeks my wardrobe bed is still flat pack I am now looking someone to put it together for me. Nothing went right and the move was very expensive and I was told all the wrong things about the company what they do. All they did was to move me and throw everything in the rooms not sorted. I would not recommend these people thank you for nothing.

DO NOT use this company under any circumstances! Not only will the drivers steal your belongings worth £1000+ , they will charge you for anything additional that wasn’t in the “estimated” quote. The customer service is just as diabolical as they say you’re only covered for damaged items not theft or loss up to 7 days after the job. So if you’re doing a big house move or putting things into storage and don’t check each and every item within 7 days then they fob you off. And even if you do notice not everything has been delivered, they couldn’t care less. The driver is completely denying even taking these additional items from me despite the fact I handed them to him personally. He’s also denying taking the extra money he demanded which was £100 in cash (which he then agreed to lower to £80, how generous…). Customer service are taking his word over ours despite us having no reason to lie, and the screenshot messages I have of mine and my mums texts at the time time of pick up. I had to ask her to pay him the money he was asking at the delivery address where she was waiting otherwise he wasn’t going to do the job which was already paid for!! I was in another part of the country from where I was moving my belongings to so I could only check when I visited 3 weeks later. This was when I’d realised x8 expensive jackets and coats had been stolen by the driver and his friend. To add, there should have been just one driver and he turned up to do the job with his friend? They had awful attitudes and were highly unprofessional, it seemed very shady from the moment they walked in the door and now I know why. I am mortified that their drivers can steal whatever they like from you and absolutely nothing is done about it and not even as much as compensation is offered. I’m certain this isn’t the first time this is happened and I’m sure this won’t be the last as they know they can get away with it.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! BEWARE PLS READ THE FOLLOWING....... We booked your service on 30th June 2023 at 0900am to 1100am. Your staff called at 1030am telling us they cannot arrive due to a flat tire (which I believe is a complete and utter lie due to what happened during the rest of the day), they said they will call us again to reschedule around lunch time. We received your call around 1pm informing us of your arrival at around 1530pm to 1600pm which would by then be 7 hours later than scheduled. And again at 1600pm, another call to us telling us that the driver is coming from Birmingham!! It takes 3 hours to arrive in Exeter and finally they arrived at 2045pm. After 45 minutes of loading the goods, they got into a serious argument which I believe is with your company, waking up all the neighbours nearby and they stop loading, the situation was settled but after another moving of 45 minutes, they started arguing again and neighbours are so annoyed by your staff. Then, your staff suddenly asked us for delivery the next day which I definitely refused at that moment. I strongly requested for them to honour our agreement and we both drive to the same destination in Telford. The loading finished at 2300pm and I confirmed with your driver the estimated arrival will be around 0200am. By 0600am no one turned up, your person in charge, your driver were both not taking my calls. All my property and personal belongings were in your possession and we had no idea when or whether it would arrive. We ended up having to rent a hotel our children were exhausted and we were frustrated. The service is absolutely diabolical and the company is totally irresponsible. They have serious problems within the company between employer and employees. I believe the good reviews on here are totally fake. Do not use their service, you will surely be disappointed.

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE. The worst experience of any service, ever. They took our money, we're so chaotic they didn't order a van and have kept our £243. Now we are taking them to court to get out money back. What happened is that we wanted a van to pick up a sofa in the Lake District and take it to the East Midlands. Simply enough eh?One pick up and one drop off! Anyvan said they could do it for £243, but insisted on payment upfront. Anyvan even choose the date and time. we drove to the lake district to make sure the sofa was not left in the street. We got there early, we waited, and waited, but no van! Rang Anyvan, they then told us they had forgotten to order a van, and there was no van coming to pick up our sofa. Nothing we can do, we were told! Terrible, terrible service. Talk about hung out to dry and sod your luck mate, and to top it off, they have kept our money!!! So we were left in the street with a sofa and my wife in floods of tears. What were we to do with a sofa in the street 200 miles from where Anyvan promised they would deliver it? I ended up driving to Manchester to hire a van (thank you Arnold Clark, you are a life saver) driving back to the lake district, struggling with the sofa on my own, driving to East Midlands, delivering it at Midnight, then driving back home for 2am. 600 miles and a 20hr day! Thanks to the chaos caused by Anyvan. The worst service ever was not over though! I have written to all 3 directors to get my money back, they didn't ever bother to reply, so, they have my £243, it cost me £180 van hire=£423 out of pocket, and a wife back in depression. What do I have to do get my money back from these people. DO NOT USE ANYVAN AT ANY PRICE, THEY ARE TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE.

Booked a house move for 2nd June, we are both elderly disabled couple, suffering from diabetes, severe arthritis and other medical conditions, hence we booked their premier service package, including packing and unpacking, dismantling of big items and rebuilding, especially my medical bed, operated electrically, so had pre-booked and agreed at the time of booking and listed on work schedule as special. On the day of the move, first of all the van that was sent was too small, 2 people instead of a team. Arrived and started at 8.30am on the 2nd of June, The first couple of hours all was going well, half way through packing, we were told, we can't take this, take that and so forth, I asked what was wrong, they started asking for more money. I had just sold the property and needed to hand over the keys to new owners at 2pm that day. I had already talked into paying £1,355 for the move in advance, and they wanted a further £347.58, it seemed like we had a gun held to our heads to Pay otherwise they leave. As soon as the £347.58 was paid, they asked for more! Another £125, I asked why? They said it's for the second run they will do. I was only moving 3.5 miles away. If they had brought an adequate transport in the first place they wouldn't have had to do a second run. They couldn't even get a 3, 2 and single sofa set, in the van, with the other things that were booked. Needed adequate size of the transport for the move. In the end I paid £1,827.58 for the move. Even after paying what they asked for, they left some things behind but the new owners felt for us, due to our age and medical conditions and gave us the next few days to pick them up. It was 12.30am the next day, 3rd June when the movers left our new residence. There was no time to unpack anything, even though we had paid for it. My wife went to see everything was inplace for me to go sleep and noticed they hadn't hooked up my medical bed, the dryer and the washing machine was just left unconnected. I couldn't sleep in my bed due to my medical condition, Hence spent the night sitting in my armchair. Next morning my daughter came to help and started opening packed boxes, to get the kitchen started. She found one box with shoes at the bottom and a loaf of bread and some tea cakes on top! I think that was the bottom line for me. I would like the founding owner, Angus Elphinstone and the senior customer care executive named Stacey, to position their elderly parents or grandparents in our situation, then put their hand on their heart and tell us that we were justly treated?? That's hoping they have a heart! I hope this opens some eyes within the Anyvan organisation, not to promise anything, knowing it's not going to be fulfilled, avoiding the stress and suffering of elderly people. SORRY A BIG AVOID from me....!!

AWFUL SERVICE. please do not use. Tkmaxx advises to use them when buying large furniture. On day of delivery, the driver "broke down" on the way. Had to rearrange delivery, which they made me pay an extra fee for. will never use anyvan again, and will tell everyone I can about how awful of an experience I had.

This company takes 60% commission of what the client pay, driver gets 40% and need to pay tax from it and other costs. My van value is £36k and money you can earn with them won't even pay for the van itself, not mentioning servicing the van, fuel cost and making profit for living and for your future? They do not have their own fleet so the driver's vans who do jobs for them are being exploited! Drivers are working hard whole day and they pay you around £150 to £220 to go across UK doing like 300 miles a day leaving you empty on the delivery side and as I've said the driver pays for the fuel from his own money, insurance is on you, van maintenance etc, on YOU! If you work there you must be desperate.

Appalling service with ANYVAN. I contacted them and was continually asked for payment. I felt very pressured and paid, specifically requested a pick up time between 11am and 4pm from a furniture shop. I was told my pick up would be in the morning and be delivered by the afternoon. Imagine my upset when I discovered the next morning, through tracking sytem, that the driver was in London and had 5 more pick ups before mine and would under no circumstances be able to make it before 4pm. I contacted the driver who couldn't help and seemed very confused and said he might still make it (obviously knowing he wouldn't). I then phoned the Company and the person I spoke to was unbelievably rude and abrupt. He said 'how do you know how long it'll take him?' I explained that I was very aware of the time it takes to drive from central London and on top of that he had 5 other stops. He then blamed me for not picking an hourly time. I then explained I had specific stated times and had an email to prove this. He said he needed to ring the driver and I said no ive already spoken to the driver and told him what the driver said. He ignored me and let me on hold for 8 minutes. He then said that he have to rebook and charge me extra for it! I said there was no way I'd pay for something that was their fault. I then asked to cancel and have a full refund. The man refused and told me to 'check the small print' . I then asked to speak to his manager. He then put me back hold for ages. I eventually spoke to someone and explained how angry I was and how appalling I had been spoken to. He also asked how did I know the driver wouldnt be there on time? After another 5 minute conversation I told him I had the names of the companys CEO( Angus Elphinstone), the Managing director (Marc Clifton) and another manager Pathiq Trivedi. I asked his name and then he became very apologetic and I got an instant refund. I said I wanted the telephone coversation listen to and I wanted to make a further complaint. He said he would and I've never heard of the company since. I would never use or recommend this company. I then had no sofa to sit on and had to pay extra to have someone else deliver it ASAP.

Totally avoid at all costs. These are cowboys. Got a call night before move to be told that I needed to pay another £81 as I didn’t tell them what floor my flat was on. They took money out of my account 3 days before move as well. Guess what no refund policy as well. They are not a company just a dodgy middle man who sub lets jobs out. These could do a movie with John Wayne. Total avoid at all costs please please please. This company needs to be closed down. SCAMMERS!!!!!

Customer services operate like a call centre with call takers on commission The original quote is not inclusive even with the premium package . Count on paying at least £200 more on the day . The firm acts as a broker between client and man with van drivers . Ours was excellent but none are vetted . Avoid this firm and use a reputable firm for removals

This company takes over 40% of the money up front for moves within the UK. (Workers get paid ten days after Job is completed). After operating expenses, it is no surprise when drivers are working WELL BELOW the minimum wage, with no benefits or responsibilities from this company which switches from being a transport company to an online tech company for its own convenience. The government needs to take a look at the gig labour laws here as they did with Uber and Pimlico.

Excellent salesman (Akay) making you feel like everything is under control. ViaVan is like Uber for movers, they sell you a service which is then outsourced. The Via Van salesman hugely underestimated the task, and it fell onto the poor movers to make it happen. Kuddos to them, they were lovely and did their absolute best packing and moving a 2 bed flat with only 2 of them for 8h until more employees could join them to finish off and reassemble in the new house. Akay from ViaVan was adamant, we were moving so close, a day would suffice (I literally challenged this 3 times). The poor movers did a rushed job to get it done (nothing broken) while keeping a positive attitude, even supporting us through the stress of exchange/completion happening on the same day. They left our new home after 10pm with barely a break. We had to pay extra for more boxes as Akay didn't factoring in enough (again despite me saying cupboards are full). That's a hefty £290 extra ! Worse of all, ViaVan clearly must keep a hefty commission and they still screw everyone over in the process. Worth noting that Akay, the nice salesman stopped answering emails the moment it went South. They also originally cancelled my booking with 2 days to go, the bank had declined the original transaction, I authorised it then let Akay know so they could take it again. They just cancelled and in the end I had to call them to sort it. Avoid, you don't need this extra stress.

If your allocated driver is Farhan when booking in London, just do the move yourself instead. 1. Claims he is on his way when he is not 2. Ignores every call as he misses the time slot you paid extra for 3. Disgraceful mannerism upon arrival, no apology for tardiness 4. Stands and watches as you struggle and do the move yourself 5. Passive agressive to your mother as an empty plastic bag falls on the floor, "is this how you pack? Do you not know how to pack? " 6. Makes RACISM claims ( same race as him btw) as he recieved a lighthearted stop it for the comment he made previously sidenote: the public laughed when he screamed this 7. Whole job cancelled because he was in a strop Overall, he has zero professionalism or an idea for customer service. He is not aware of his job role, I suggest the company reiterates this if they continue to hire people without any screening it seems. In the end, we did the move ourselves calling ubers. I've used mutiple services for moves and never have I ever recieved such disgraceful service!

Use them at your peril. Booked a removal and they didn't turn up. Complete chaos cost us a fortune for another van the following day. No starts it won't work with none on.

I've used Anyvan loads of times but not any more. Previously you could put your job on the website and Transport companies would bid on it. You could then see the transporters reviews from previous jobs and could make an informed decision based on that. Unfortunately, its now become a bit of a scam. Here's an example of how it works: You think £600 is a reasonable price to do your move, so you pay AnyVan upfront. "HUGE MISTAKE, MASSIVE". Once they have your money you are well and truly scuppered. They will take the majority of your hard earned cash and keep it for themselves, and then list the job on the website for a nominal amount, let's say £250. At the time of your booking they will have NO transport to do your job, and it's purely luck of the draw who turns up on the day (if they actually turn up) . If you get a good team, that's great. If you get a bad one you're in for a rocky ride. Damaged items, refusal to do the most simplest of tasks and request for more money (because anyvan have already kept the lions share for themselves). Anyvan customer services are great when they want your money, but if things go wrong on the day, they'll not do anything, because the contract is now between you and the transporter. Its shocking, manipulative and corrupt. Don't bother replying to Charlotte with your job number either. That's probably a way of pulling your job up and deleting your negative feedback. Oh yeah, they do that as well!! Look at all the positive reviews on here. All of them are "invited" YOU HAVE BEEN Warned. And to top it all, I posted this on TrustPilot, and guess what, it's been taken down. The good reviews about anyvan will always, always negate the bad reviews because that's how manipulation works.

DO NOT USE , The service you receive is nothing short of shocking, wouldn’t even give them a 1 but had no option, even after sending pictures of damaged furniture their customer service department was as bad if not worse than the inexperienced drivers that are sent, worst company I have ever dealt with , Glasgow Area

My property was damaged during the move and the Anyvan enquiry was basically them asking the guy “did you damage it?”, to which he of course lied, including facts that can be backed up by a witness. Damage aside, I would also expect when I hire a removal company that they do the lifting, rather than it being left to myself while they saunter about. Terribly overpriced service for what I got, and truly pathetic response from Anyvan to the damage. I would not recommend using this company to anyone.
