“Very happy with my recent building survey report. Very detailed and very useful to help understand the house I am buying and what works need to be done. Would definitely recommend and use again for solar PV survey for example.”

“Jane Sayers carried out a very thorough and efficient survey.I was impressed by the depth of her insight and comprehensive guidance.Based on her report I withdrew from the acquisition which, although disappointing, saved me from making a poor, and potentially much more costly than anticipated, purchase.”

“I chose Allcott cos of the following reasons. 1. During the pre engagement phase when I was narrowing down to which surveyor I would select, I received a response, from one of the Partners. For me that demonstrated that they took every enquiry seriously. 2. This prompt attention to every enquiry has been sustained. At anytime, you ask, you get a response within a few minutes or within a few hours. Most reassuring. At least you know where you are. 3. Cost was reasonable compared to other surveyors 4. They were able to demonstrate that their surveyors had the required accreditations. 5. I was especially concerned about the safety of the structure of the building, as it was an older building, and they seemed to, from their related business, have a focus on this. Survey - level 3 was booked, paid for, and actually performed the survey, about a week before the scheduled date due to an opportunity which arose in their calendar. From the booking date to the survey date was just under a month, as it does seem that surveyors are quite busy - I wonder why, thought there was a lull in house buying due to high mortgage interest rates? I received the electronic copy of the survey about a week after, and I am satisfied that it contained enough information about most areas of concern, and it had very specific guidance which I needed to pass on to our solicitors. I am sure, that the layout of the document could be improved to make it even easier to understand, but I'd score the report 7 out of 10. Some of the language was a bit tough to decipher - things like fenestration instead of window opening - thank God I did French for O levels !. But its like everything in life, there should always be room for improvement. If I had to do a survey again, anywhere which was in an area which Allcott was able to cover, I would certainly consider Allcot Associates. Definitely recommended by me, on an objective basis of a service which they delivered as expected, not much to complain about, unless I was being nit pickery...”

“There were plenty of useful comments and advice which confirmed my opinions of the poor quality of my new garage roof, which was causing damage to the existing timbers which were constantly wet. Prior to the survey the roofers did not take my complaints seriously, the survey helped. I was also able to ask questions of the surveyor after receiving my survey, and was able to decide what to do next.”

“I used Allcott Associates as their reviews were excellent. It was easy to get a quote on line although it took a bit longer than we expected to get the survey done but that was because they were booked up for several weeks and I left it for a few days before booking the survey. However that was not a problem and I am glad we waited rather than go to someone else just because they could do it quicker. The report arrived very quickly and was very detailed with supporting photographs and recommendations. I have no hesitation in giving them a 5 star rating and I am very happy recommending them. That were very professional and worth what we paid. Just remember to book the survey as early as you can to avoid disappointment.”

“Absolutely brilliant! I needed a Level 3 Building Survey. The process of getting a quote and requesting the survey were both very easy. The survey was booked extremely quickly and the report that was produced was exactly what I was after and more. Matthew was very professional, thorough and detailed in his report, and he was incredibly helpful when I needed to ask some specific questions about certain findings in the report. I would not hesitate to use Allcott Associates again in the future, and I have already recommended them to others. Thank you!”
