“On arriving at Aldi shop in Airdrie checkout I removed my used Aldi carrier bag, which by the way was all crumpled up from my pocket in front of the checkout girl so she could acknowledge I had not purchased it new, obviously an old bag. When all items were scanned she did not issue me with a receipt as requested before I paid, after payment she asked me twice to touch my bank card again to machine before I finally got my receipt, in total I had to use contactless three times to obtain my receipt which I thought was a bit off. When I got home I noticed she had charged me 20 pence for a carrier bag that I did not purchase and thought this strange as she did not even scan my own carrier bag. I would advise anyone shopping at Aldi not to use an Aldi carrier bag, why was this allowed to happen. Not a lot of money but then again its my money. .”

“On 15/01/2023, I had excellent customer service at Aldi in Kidbrooke by employee Gian and I would like to share my experience. I had problems passing my groceries in the self checkout, and the employee Gian gave me all the assistance, with a lot of education, patience and professionalism… I will summarize the story so the text does not get long. Some grocery items were not registering automatically, I had 2 boxes of broken eggs (my fault), my credit card Bank It didn't work, I had to go home to get another one, I paid half of the groceries at checkout and the other half at Self-checkout . Bad day for me, but I had full assistance and guidance, it was my luck. 🙂 Before that another situation had happened , when I went to remove 3 packs of 2 liters of water, which were piled up and could fall when removed, the employee Gian was passing by at the time and asked if I needed help, and he removed the packs for me. 🙂 Honestly, it's very difficult to find attentive staff who are ready to help. But, today for the first time, I had this great experience. I hope Gian has a great future at the Aldi supermarket, because he is a rare person to find. Thank you so much Gian”

“I bought a ferex inpact Driver on the 30/12/22 it was completely useless does not work it was 2.99 when I complained about it to customer service that they sold rubbish to me knowing it doesn't work when I was advised by customer service to return it and ask for a exchange for one that does work the manager said that he would give me a new one but only if I pay £15 pounds not the £2.99 I was charged originally I rang customer service and was abused by Genna a customer service Aldi person this is nothing but rubbish being sold cheap instead of throwing it in the bin I'm not shopping with Aldi again been ripped off with rubbish goods”

“Purchase a Specially selected free Range whole Chicken. Followed cooking instruction to the letter the chicken was over cooked and dry on the breast and pink at the side of the legs and blue underneath. Only had quart of the beast and the rest was thrown in the bin. Had no choice but to serve it because it was Christmas day was so upset and embarrassed Christmas lunch was ruined. Dont Believe the Hype on Aldi food like i did. I have been going to Sainsbury for my Organic Free Range chicken for 15 years and this has never happend. I will never shop in Aldi again you get what you pay for.”

“I bought Aldi's rack of lamb. as a treat for my husband and myself. We had it tonight and it was horrible. It cost me £14'95 and it was all fat. 4 small loin chops which were thick with fat. I have often cooked rack of lamb at home but never had such little actual meat to eat. Never again will I spend so much money on so little about of edible food.”

“Bought 5 pounds of beef from aldis on clyde park n 28th street 2 days ago got it home to separate it and it smelled like straight sewage! I will never buy stuff from yall ever again. Oh and on top of the meat being bad when u buy fruit from them with in 24 hours it goes bad!!! Would love yall to make this right but I highly doubt it!”

“Used them last month. Found them very disappointing. Although they are cheap. Their own brands are extremely low quality and they compromise quality for this. For example. A pack of 4 frozen chicken pies for a very cheap price of about £1.60 must have had 1 cube of chicken in each pie. Chicken is very cheap meat. Having literally pastry mash and pease for supper made my blood boil that day. I will never buy their own brands again. Stick to big labels if I use them again. Which are a touch cheaper than other supermarkets.”

“Oceane and Ariel had great attitudes and kindness. Best customer service ever. In my opinion, they should both be employee of the month. Also, Aldi is organized, clean and neat. The food is not only good but amazing. 5 Stars!”

“I recently ordered wine online from Aldi as I have previously enjoyed wines from Aldi. Unfortunately their delivery service falls well short of what is acceptable. Despite being give a date which was the latest it would be delivered, it still hadn’t arrived two days later. I discovered using tracking that the wine was with the delivery company local depot, where it had been for 4 days with no sign of it being sent out anytime soon. As I had stayed at home for two wasted days I wasn’t prepared to sacrifice a third day and cancelled the order. This experience has resulted in me looking elsewhere for all my future wine deliveries.”

“The fishing boots my partner bought from Aldi with a brand name of Crane two years ago were not worn until October 2022.First time out a small crack appeared behind the toecap. Boots were relegated to rainy dog walking duties the crack grew and the boots are no longer any good for anything. I am annoyed because my partner and I thought these cheap boots would replace the twenty year old set that had cost a lot more but at least they gave 20 years of service.”

“Bought an Aldi chicken Balmoral on 09/11/22. I don't write negative reviews lightly as shop weekly at Aldis. Gastro meal assumed would be good. Only got one piece of chicken 1 cm square and complained, never complain, photos and photos of Aldi packaging. Very little acknowledgement that this was a problem and WITHOUT A RECEIPT you'll not get a refund or any compensation, even though is an Aldi product. Absolute joke, who keeps a hold of their receipt for days after purchase, if indeed you take a receipt. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE. Great policy from Aldi, ignore the issue, and make no effort to resolve it or acknowledge customer concern. Would give zero stars if could.”

“Almost every time I go to Aldi's in Woodstock Georgia the lines are Enormous. They usually only have 1 cashier to serve dozens of customers. Maybe 1 employee on the floor to stock. I asked the manager last week if they are hiring anyone and her response was that they have enough staff and that they were NOT hiring anyone. I was told by an employee that they don't really hire so they can keep costs down. DONT SHOP there unless you have time to waste!”

“This happened for the third time today, male cahier who was operating on tilt four toady at about 14:13 refused to hand me my receipt, instead placed it on the counter. The reason I am upset because, this didn't happen with the other customers who were white. I observed while in the que because I made a note of it mentally when it happened before. I even waited after I caused to see if he handed it to the other persons cashing after me and sure thing he did. I am not easily phased by these things but for the third time happening it tells me something about you sir.”

“Just bought the Aldi 7ft Pre Lit Luxury Premium Christmas Tree. WOW how beautiful, have been looking for several weeks been to David Jones, Myers, Costco, Target ,K Mart , Big W as well as specialty Christmas Shops. Then I went to Aldi purchased this tree it looks just as good as the specialty shops, Myers or David Jones, and so much cheaper only $139. Easy to assemble comes in 3 sections. Place bottom section into the sturdy steel base, unfold the branches, and fluff them out. Repeat with mid and top sections. Tree is now looking fantastic. Plug in and switch on, up to you on whether you want to decorate it further or leave as is. The built in lights are just stunning and you have a few settings to choose from. Excellent tree for such a low price highly recommend.”
