Parked for 35min, got a £40 fine, they put up the signage at the junction where cars are coming out and going in, pedestrians and kids are commuting and you'll have to have an eye in the back of your head to make sure you're or out, NO readable signage before you're getting into Aldi to remind you, in case it's your first time going there. how was i supposed to pay attention to a small print sign while looking after 2 kids and new born in a baby carrier? NOT fair and not recommended.

I have never shopped in Aldi before and thought I would see if it lived up to the hype. Not very impressed and will never shop there again as I also received a £40-70 fine for 30 minutes parking.

Rude staff and as a new customer it is not clearly visible to say you have to sign in !! We have only been twice in the last few days and had no clue about terminals and have received tickets! It’s a disgrace We will NEVER go there again!

Great store, great prices, great service. All this moaning about the car park is simply people not paying attention to the 52 signs that I counted telling you about the car park. Always easier to blame someone else for your mistake. It’s 2023, you’re parking in a town centre car park, if you haven’t checked signage then that’s your fault. If you’ve been given a ticket and are a genuine customer you just need to speak to the team in store with your receipt and they will cancel it, as the giant sign in the entrance lobby tells you

It was my first time as an Aldi, Wokingham customer, it will be my last! This morning I received a parking penalty notice. Would it be too much to expect the staff to give a reminder to customers to do what ever it is they need to, to prevent customers getting a fine?

Had a great experience at Aldi Wokingham. Nice store and good food for a good price. Recommended to friends and family as a great all rounder for shopping. Yesterday received a ticket for parking in the Aldi Wokingham carpark. Understandably implications are put in place however there are no clear and obvious indications which is quite disappointing. I was super excited about visiting the store and planned to shop there regularly. Friends and family won’t be back unfortunately.

Went to Aldi to try and get a cheaper shop, no obvious signs indicating that it was a pay and display car park, sign stated just for Aldi shoppers only which I was. Got landed with a PCN - will revert back to Tesco or Lidl for my weekly shop and will not be shopping at any Aldi again, Really don't like that kind of trickery where parking charges are not obvious and hidden. Very disappointed.

Shopped for 40 mins . Parked after reading 'parking for Aldi customers only' big lettering. Then received PCN in the post . I have my receipt and can prove I was an 'Aldi customer' and not abusing the parking space. I get why they might want to avoid spaces being taken for non legitimate Aldi customers, but the brand and the stores business is being impacted by the very poor management of this system. I am not paying and they can take it all way to court - with my receipt in hand, let the judge decide if I was a legitimate Aldi customer or not, and then I will charge for my time and expense in having to defend this travesty.

Nasty parking fine! Never been before, but was passing and needs a few things, saw sign saying for Aldi customers only and that exactly what I did. Won't go again, it's a shame because it's a nice new store!

I am new in the area, in a short time I did shopping in Aldi 3 times, I received 2 parking fines, I will not buy anything there again. There is a Lidl nearby, maybe they don't pull customers into the parking lot. Shame!

I was shopping at this location since opening atleast once or twice a week but couple months back this Parking eye extortion started, I provided proof of bank transaction on the day they were claiming i haven’t shoped or I haven’t put my reg number in… doesn’t make much sense as regular customer why would I just park there when I know that I will get a ticket if I don’t put my details in the shop. Just plain stupid I guess someone has to pay for those lazy.. ( parking eye) to chase, harass and bully honest hard working people.

Whilst working in the county I regularly shop at Aldi stores Alton, Blackwater,Sandhurst and Church Crookham. I have never had to pay to park in all the years of shopping at Aldi stores. On the off-chance of being in the area, I popped into the new Wokingham store and have since been served with a parking charge of £40/£70. I was instore for 38 minutes. It seems you have to register your vehicle. Aldi divorces themselves from how Parkingeye operate, customers are consistently being caught out. They are not deliberately evading payment to park, yet the parkingeye scheme is less than obvious to most judging by the huge number of complaints against this store. Most the the UK's major supermarkets offer free parking with 'no hidden agenda' like this. Aldi are holding a considerable market share in the UK, it's about time you supported your customers on matters such as this and particularly as this store is now a black spot for complaint after complaint about this. Poor show and you deserve the bad press for washing your hands of this ongoing situation.

Went to do weekly shop during the last week of the school holidays. (took longer than usual with the children) Received a rotten parking fine and even after I had appealed it and submitted bank statements from the shop on the day in question, it still isn't enough and my appeal was rejected!! Will recommend everyone to avoid this place!!

Aldi have employed a rouge car park company to con people out of £70 for parking in the official Aldi customer car park. There is inadequate parking and no information in store that customers need to pre-register their car before parking. This is a scam and must be challenged. Do not shop at this Aldi so long as they allow this scam to persist.
