Avoid at all costs. They advertise cheap rates to hook you in and then cancel policies early into the term and take lots of unnecessary admin fees. This company should be investigated for corrupt work practices.

1 star rating is a stretch. BEWARE of this company, £50 charged to cancel my insurance, they advised me to, because the couldn't (or wouldn't) insure me on another vehicle with same size engine. Given £248 after £50 admin fee for 10 min phone conversation. Should have been refunded £350 after their robbery of admin fee

A choice car insurance Worst insurance company ever. Look at every way of getting money out of you. They should have refunded me for cancelling my insurance months earlier but found ways for them not to pay the money to me by whacking on charges and extra charges. Stay well away.

I took my insurance out completely unaware that this company was going to transfer me to a finance company if I paid by DD, within hours I recieved an email from a finance company asking me to sign and agree to my finance agreement which I was not comfortable doing I contacted and whilst the staff on the phone were really nice I was told that taking out a finance agreement is the only way to pay by DD with them and that yes it would effect credit scores, I explained that I cannot have finance as I had just taken out a large finance on the vehicle and cannot have multiple impacts all together and had I known I would not have taken insurance out with them. I was then given 3 choices, take out the finance, Pay in full or cancel and lose my £75 deposit plus owe them MORE money for the few hours I had the insurance active. To be clear I did not want to cancel, I was actually so upset on the call speaking to a few people and crying because I couldn't believe I was being put in a position where I couldn't take on any of the options available yet to cancel I would lose money through no fault of my own, the lady on the phone said she would see if they could process a refund given the circumstances and that someone would be on contact with me - a few weeks later I hadn't heard anything. I then emailed and explained the situation again and explained that I had raised a formal complaint nd haven't heard anything can someone please read my situation and listen to the calls I have recieved an email today with no apology of the experience I had with them but just a generic email stating that their cancellation policy is for me to be charged and that I also owe them more money Honestly the hours I spent crying over the fact that this company are stealing money from me after giving me an ultimatum when ut was through no fault of my own that I was needing to cancel, and they can't even say sorry or acknowledge the position they put me in If I was cancelling just because I changed my mind I would understand, this was not the case, I stated over and over I did not want to cancel but because I couldn't afford to pay in full to get myself out of an unexpected finance agreement they have taken my money and essentially said 'oh well' I honestly cannot believe the disgusting position the put me in and then the total disregard for the complaint twice so I unfortunately will now be having to take this to the Ombudsman about this company, I understand they incur costs for taking out the policy etc but if someone calls frantic about not wanting to take out finance and has no idea this is how their company works, to just put them in financial detriment is horrific

What a terrible company. I took insurance out with them today and found a mistake in the info. I informed them and they said that I would need to cancel the insurance. The insurance wasn't going to start until the 12th Jan. I would have cancelled the policy straight away but was on the cancellation line for over an hour. They have charged me £50 for doing nowt. Cancellation charges and insurance hasnt even started and the paperwork was wrong. They weren't helpful at all. I lost £50 with this insurance within 2 hours and they did nowt for it except keep me on the phone for ages. I wouldn't recommend

cancelled policy within the 14 day cooling off period as the policy wasnt quite right for me, they charged nearly £200 of a yearly policy of £650, tried phoning numerous times and in que for over half hour each time, finished up emailing for brekdown of their charges to explain this, totally ignored it and charged extortionate fee, wish i had read the reviews first. disgusting

Vile, disgusting group of people and company. They mixed my details up with another person and when they received an email from this other person to cancel their insurance they cancelled mine and refused to reinstate it, leaving me half way through the year to have to find another policy. I explained that I don’t have a lot of money and I can’t afford to find a new policy right before Christmas but they just told me there’s nothing they can do, they didn’t offer any help just to go away and stop calling. I now can’t afford to have a car and a Christmas with my family all because some random person wanted to cancel their insurance

I took out a policy online for the car I wanted to insure which I got in 2020 but due to a typo error, it was written as 2021. I unfortunately did not check their reviews. This greedy company did not ask me to confirm the date, instead, they wanted me to pay £379 for this typo error. They threatened to cancel the policy if I didn't pay £379. I refused to entertain their greed. Most of the reviews indicate that they invent any excuse to charge you more money, extreme greediness. Never use this company otherwise you will regret

Tried to charge me £550 addition premium. After trying and completely FAILING to con me out £550. Then once again asked for vehicles current mileage with driving licence photos… there’s insurance companies that do these checks before taking the policy… not during when you’ve got the insurance… complete joke of a company… letter stated if not provided by 5th of October my policy will be cancelled. Some company’s don’t even ask for these ridiculous things…

Absolutely awful service. My 17 year old daughter had provisional insurance with them, paid by direct debit, made an initial payment followed by 3 further payments, cancelled the policy by email once she had passed her test as we were unable to contact them to update her insurance, constantly on hold until til the call eventually terminated! Sought insurance from another more reliable provider… The cancellation cost has cost her £105.53….£50 cancellation fee, commission £16 & another £40 in hidden costs. No welcome pack provided when she had taken out the insurance…..Truly awful, threatening a 17 year old with debt collection agency if she doesn’t pay all of the above, I fully accept a cancellation fee but other hidden costs..Really??? I was under the impression that children under the age of 18 couldn’t enter into a financial agreement without an adult being a guarantor. She can’t even have a mobile phone contract in her name as she’s under the age of 18. When my son had taken out insurance at 17 I also had to sign to say if he didn’t pay then I would be held accountable. I have emailed them 3 times on her behalf since 24 August, I have received 3 automated replies saying they will contact us within 7 days, almost 2 months later absolutely nothing!! I have finally spoken with them after numerous calls but to be honest all they do is read the email they had sent my daughter about the outstanding balance. DO NOT be tempted by there cheap quotes please be aware of hidden cancellation costs.

Please trust all the bad reviews. Absolutely awful company. Premium went up by £550 within the first month because of a fault on their end and communicating with anyone on the phone is impossible. Probably would get more comprehension and communication out of a dog than the "customer service" representatives. My fault for giving them the benefit of the doubt and thinking everyone else was just being dramatic with their bad reviews but it makes so much sense now.

The policy when it came through, did not cover commuting, I tried to get through on the phone to amend it but spent an hour on hold, I emailed and I have had no response so far, I guess now I need to get another insurance policy leaving me hundreds of pounds me out of pocket and pursue a refund, Useless. update I have tried to get through on the phone several times no one answers after following the prompts I just sit on hold forever. I have sent a few emails but got no response. I managed to cancel the policy by online form before it was due to start and got a confirmation email. No sign of or word of a refund. multiple emails sent and attempts to call no reply.

Do not use A choice - if you cancel the insurance policy you'll never get your money back. circa 6 weeks of trying to communicate resulted in a waste of time. Whoever runs this company has no idea about customer service. Do they not care about the company they are trying to build. It always must start with the customer... Time to go to the financial ombudsman. https://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/

Asbolute f'ing joke of a company. Leaving customers on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes only to be told that their system has convenientally went down. Not only that but they haven't taken any payment from my direct debit which should have been set, I've emailed and tried phoning about this only to be punted off to the finance company who didn't have any of my bank details even though they were given. This is far from my first bad experience with this company as they will drag their heels at any opportunity. And god forbid if you have an accident and have to claim.

Cancel insurance notice given if mileage difference from previous MOT - when you call to explain why no one answers the phone and cut you off when you do get through. AVOID this terrible company

Unless you have all day to waste waiting over an hour for someone to cut you off. Then you call back another hour and 20 minutes later, for the staff to find it amusing that you have been waiting so long. Tanya and Amanda. To then be told your insurance is cancelled, for tampering with the box on 2 occasions where this only happened once as the car wasn't being driven so no data was being collected. Also you get more penalties for going out between 2300 and 0500 than you do for speeding, makes no sense!
