The wait for luggage on the KLM flight from Amsterdam on a Wednesday afternoon arrived at 4.30pm got ourselves wet getting from the plane into the airport then had to wait 40minutes for the luggage belt to start. Nobody visable to advise how long it would be - complete lack of staff or information. We had someone waiting in the terminal to collect us and then had extra charges for car park fees. No way can you call this an International Airport more like big rip off at every turn.

Ripped off at exit barriers, didn’t take tap and go, put card in took several times, had to move car to get out (as machines are too low really annoying) finally barrier opened and charged £30 , what a ripoff

UK baggage reclaim too far away with long wait for bags considering how few flights operate here these days. Also, lack of general facilities checK-in side. No visible airport information desk either. Decidedly downbeat feel about this airport since the pandemic

Stort stay car park is a trap. Once you leave the roundabout there is no way to avoid paying at least £5. £30 for 100 minutes parking is total rip off.

This is the worst airport internet availability i have seen so far been travelling here in the UK for 25 years. Aberdeen ABZ Airport Internet availability: Vodafone on 5G Phone: only 4G available with 4.95 Down and 2.47 Upload BA Lounge-WIFI virtually non-existent: 2.99 Down and 0.96 Upload Aberdeen airport-WIFI speed tester doesn’t even load, they would better switch it off completely as its simply an embarrassment showing its non working availability!

6 hours from my flight arrived at the airport till my departing flight left. Shops closed and boarded up. Cafe closed and bored up. Seating gone. Only the upper bar area to sit and eat. Couldn't check in earlier or leave my case so couldn't spend the afternoon in Aberdeen City unless I was happy to have my suitcase and backpack with me all the time. Something badly needs to be done to improve facilities here or I will be doing everything I can to make sure I never have to fly through this airport again.

Security person was a complete jobsworth who made me take all my liquids out of the bag I had purchased secure bag for liquids and my heart med which had airport approved on the side. I have used it at Edinburgh Glasgow Manchester alicante Venice and Amsterdam and no problem But this jobsworth made me empty it and gave a flimsy bag that would not seal so I had to dump toiletries once I finally got it sealed he then reopened it and took it away for scanning then hands it back to me to try and seal it again a right plonker

Went to Aberdeen Airport to see friend off. Discovered that the coffee shops i the concourse were no longer operating and the only place to get a coffee, apart from a vending machine, was the Granite City Pub. You cannot now relax over a coffee and cake but have to pay pub prices for everything which makes for an expensive visit. The pub atmosphere is fine for drinkers but is noisy and disruptive for others. Additionally, seating in the concourse is virtually non existent. The last time I visited the Airport it was a relatively pleasant experience but this latest visit has persuaded me to avoid it if possible and in the event I do have to use it, to spend as little time as possible in it. Finally, the parking charge is exorbitant.

For an international airport, don’t be in a hurry to get a taxi… it’s a joke..

The usual nightmare in security. No staff and long queues waiting for access to my tray. Staff not telling other passengers to take their tray to the tables but instead allowed them to dress at the belt and left their tray causing a lot of congestion. Airport management needs to stop thinking about profits in the ridiculously high priced shops and cafes and focus on the smaller things that really makes a difference to our experience in the airport. Not a great place to travel from. Just wish I had an alternative but we are all held to ransom.

The short stay parking at Aberdeen airport is an absolute robbery. I paid £123 for a fortnight which I thought was good value. I left myself an hour either side for delays. Thanks to TUI our return flight was delayed by 3 hours and I was charged £52 to get my car out of the car park. Only Aberdeen can do this. It is a terrible way to treat customers as you have to pay it if you want to get out. I will never use their parking again and would not recommend it to anyone. Also we were at Rhodes, the airport was unbelievanly bustbut they got us and our luggage through extremely quickly, yet we were the only flight in Aberdeen at 430am and it took 45 minutes to get our luggage. Poor service all round.

What an absolute disgrace this airport is to Aberdeen. We attended for our flight and on entering the doors weee met by the longest queue for a flight I have ever seen. There must have been two folk booking in as it was so slow. It’s almost like the Tenerife flight which is always packed caught them by surprise!! They eventually put on extra staff to open more gates but get them all open from the start. It’s not rocket science. Then up to a warm welcome at the airport lounge where we were told abruptly each person only gets three hours in the lounge and max six drinks. Happy holiday. I’ve travelled extensively and never heard of this. Then the so called meal came. One fish cake for my wife and a bowl of lasagne for me which was tiny. What a joke. There wasn’t enough seating and service wasn’t great. All in all a poor experience. Then of course when you return home you have the dreaded taxi rank. A few hundred passengers come off a flight to find about three taxis available. Come on this has been going on for years. Oh and if you get someone to drop you off and pick you up it is now up to four pounds each time. I used the loo at one point in the main waiting area. Three soap dispensers with no soap and the toilet cubicles were swimming in water and god knows what else. I’m actually embarrassed that people travelling through this city see this. There is covid ongoing but clearly no toilet cleaning going on

Security staff are very rude, aggressive and unprofessional! They shout, scream and intimidate for no reason! They shouldn't do this job if they hate it so much...! Avoid Aberdeen airport at all costs!

Beware to deal with arrogant and rude staff who lack any sort of customer service skills. The worst experience ever, the agent made lots of errors with my travel acting as it’s my fault. Shocking behaviour!!!

Aberdeen Airport is sorley lacking. I arrived on the BA Flight on Sat 2nd Jan, evening from Heathrow. No staff in attendance. After collecting luggage went out for Taxi as most on flight did also, Not one Taxi in sight. Now the Taxi waiting tunnel is full & 20 mins later still not a Taxi in sight. I called Rainbow Taxi & my car arrived in 2 mins. As I walked up to the Upper level to get in my taxi & leave, there was still no Taxis arrived to pick up passengers & on a Freezing night. Total disgrace. Aberdeen never get it right! M

Parked the car at the Long Stay Car Park for 1 day + 5 hours, admittedly without pre-booking. Utterly gob smacked when I was charged £50 !!! Also noticed that the Drop Off Charge has been increased to £3. Also been on the receiving end of some rather aggressive Police 'attitude' when you try and park up elsewhere to minimise the time/cost in the Drop Off Area. These prices are an absolute disgrace ....
