“Customer service on shop floor was perfect,but gentlemen on till scanned a £69 pair of boots do you want them waterproof is that not free no £3.50 nothing about if I returned them if I had it done,then went straight on to buy raffle tickets nothing about customer service just sell sell then went on to next customer not even offer me a bag or thank you for being in-store”

“Shocking experience, they charge you for delivery then use a courier who they know from seeing previous reviews regularly loses packages . Left on my door step in bright red bag , make sure any passing thieves don’t miss them , then called a secure delivery , not notified of delivery or given a 2 hour slot . Now had 5 hours plus pursuing the issue and no nearer to getting replacement or money back - avoid”

“bought a pair of Skechers trainers from Wynsors in Wigan after 4 weeks the sole on both trainers was getting very worn with the top surface worn through. I have had nothing but Skechers trainers and shoes for the last 10 years and never had a problem. i returned them to the shop who sent them away to be examined by their people not Skechers and they said there is no manufacturing fault but no explanation what is wrong with them. the lady in the shop said its probably wear and tear, i am 70 years old and have COPD and a few joint problems . i would not expect so much wear and tear after 4 weeks use if i was walking 20 miles every day. If you are going to buy Skechers i would get them direct from Skechers then if you have a problem you have a better chance of getting it resolved. KB”

“My husband I where in the New Sunderland Branch Roker Ave, And we were helped by a lovely assistant Rachel,, giving us her advice won walking shoes and training shoes, She was very pleasent and beautiful smile x also the girl on the check out was every pleasent to , which is rare to find. X we were in the store 29/05/22 at 10.25 x will definitely be back x lovely friendly store x”

“Ordered two pairs of Adidas trainers on Saturday, then read all the negative reviews and panicked! Both pairs arrived on Tuesday morning. Boxed labeled in perfect condition. Good value for money and excellent service.”

“I ordered a pair of shoes and was sent the incorrect item. When I contacted customer service I was told I could always return the shoes, which I did. However, I was charged for the return on an item I did not order. When I contacted customer service again and spoke to Amanda who seemed to have an attitude telling me we were going round in circles and for that reason she would terminate the call. All I wanted was the correct shoes or a full refund to reorder the correct shoes.”

“AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!!! By far, the worst live trading company in this country. Customer service is absolutely HORRENDOUS. Shoes not fit for purpose get sent for QUALITY check, then come back as no refund. Shoes outer skin start pilling off just after 10min normal walk and shops reply is "The shoes have been subjected to unfair wear treatment, not in keeping with expected walking/running". Im finding this also very rude - suggesting in my face that im laying. Even the cheapest, poorest quality shoes should last more than 10min. Wynsors believe their policies overule law, and when challenged just say "go to trading standards". Absolutely disgusting company. For sure i wont be returning customer.”

“Bought some kickers shoes for school a few days ago, one shoe letting water in, wynsors won't exchange them for another pair, they have to be sent to head office to be checked which is an absolutely crazy policy so I have to buy another pair, obviously never from wynsors !”

“Bought a pair of school shoes for my son but they were too small.. returned them the same day via Hermes on 12Aug. Still waiting for a refund. Called wynsors to be advised that it can take 2wks for them to receive the item back and then i have to wait again for them to check the shoes and process the refund.. i am waiting for the refund until i can purchase him another pair of shoes!!! Disgusting returns service that i am then going to get charged £4 for the privilege of using..”

“Absolutely terrible. 2 orders placed, 7 items, nothing suitable. All sizes involved were inconsistent therefore necessary to return all items. Complaints register3d on return forms however return charges still applied to refunds, which were not immediate. Aimed to contact Company, no manager/supervisor available, unhelpful and grossly inefficient telephone telephone admin. Hence wrote a letter of complaint, addressed to manager. No reply! Do not order from Wynsors online only to pay return postage costs.”

“Defective Shoes - No Refund. Bought a couple of pairs of trainers, one pair split after light wear. Returned both pairs and requested a refund and was told no fault found. Extremely unsatisfied by poor product and unhelpful customer service. Been a customer of Wynsors for 25 years, but after this never again.”

“Customer service gave me a prompt and polite reply by email. Good communication . The slippers I bought were fantastic value for money. Similar in quality to much more expensive ones free delivery too for minimum of spend of only £20 !.”

“bought a pair of school shoes for my grandson and on the first wearing the surface layer was taken off the toe. This is more than the usual "scuff" you would expect. The shoe was not 'fit for purpose'. My complaint was denied.”

“Horrible service, unfair practices. Beware of them. They will even charge you for the return label (A4 printout) - they won't refund the full amount you paid for the shoes. I recommend everyone to stay away from this business.”

“Visited Wynsors Newton Heath today with my two wonderful autistic sons ! The ladies were amazingly professional, approachable, friendly, welcoming. Thank you Nikola, Sue and Joann. You make our shopping experience amazing, it was stress free and enjoyable. I couldn’t possibly thank you enough for your wonderful kindness and assistance, my sons were both very happy to shop with me. You ladies are all very beautiful souls and I wish you all the very best as your kindness is much appreciated.”
