Went on to vip auction didn't bid, didn't understand how it worked so I left, then later found out £138 had been taken out from my account for no good reason. Don't even go on to look, they will take money.

I have got my BANK looking into trying to get my money back. PayPal were no help as resolving this matter. As for VIP didn’t reply to my email to return my money as I didn’t win on the so called auction site.

I went on this vipauction site seemed a good idea as I wanted a iPad for the wife. I entered my bid as I thought prompted by the site :-£79.00. It then asked to bid another :- £59.00. Total was then :- £138.00. I didn’t win and never received my monies returned to my PayPal account. On contacting PayPal they said there was nothing they could do to resolve this. Makes you think what’s going on there!!!!!

Glad of all the negative reviews. Company House shows Company ruled by 3 people in Singapore. Also shows interesting repeat requests for the Company to be struck off and being withdrawn. This is dodgy as hell with no accounts submission evident. That is bad in Companies House terms. Stay well clear of VIPAUCTION. Read the reviews.

VIP Auctions are 100% a Scam company, if you want to donate money to another party, then please look towards a registered charity. These people just take your money for nothing in return. If it’s too good, then your likely to be scammed, glad I stayed well away, No one can give you an IPhone worth £800 for £30. Some sites you can genuinely buy raffle tickets and win items worth £1000 for a £1, but 2000 people have entered the draw and it’s 2000/1 chance of winning item, but most those websites are genuine and are registered, as they are doubling there money in the process, it’s another form of gambling, VIP auction are 100% scammers..

I was about to join, as I need a new phone, but as someone else further down said, it was too good to be true. Glad I checked the reviews. Steer clear of this auction sight.

vipauction website link shows Sophora Media Ltd, St John St (London). So I checked the companies house site (https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/07202713) and it's pretty obvious from that data that this is not a bona-fide company. So I'm staying away.

I just asked for membership gave my first name and last name and email address. Then I thought better to check reviews, reviews are shocking. Especially second one when someone did the same what did and they start taking money from their bank account. I straightaway went back to cancel my membership but there is no option for this. I need to look closely my bank transactions, otherwise God knows how much they will take out from my account.

I only deposited £59 for less than an hour, lost £20 in that time, asked for a refund was told by Laura it would take 15 to 20 days, I've waited and waited and contacted then, again Laura told me my request had been processed, still not in my account, I am now over 30 days and still waiting, perhaps time to hand over to Martin Lewis to pursue and name and shame this bunch of un-scrupulous people and there company VIP AUCTIONS. Do not ever give them a penny or a look or a second thought. As a gentleman i will not give them what i would really call them, the type off my keypad. William

Decided to have a look out of curiosity, but all too vague (didn't even say what a credit was worth in £), or what they would be taking from my PayPal account! Decided against even logging in! Too risky. Would never pre-pay to just join anything, or buy tokens/credits. Insane. Can see how some got tempted. If you do, ALWAYS use PayPal with Card payment source. Then you should get your money back. Yet another scam the Advertising Standards should be shutting down.
