I was told the day of the concert, 3 hours before the concert was supposed to start, that they no longer could provide the tickets I originally purchased. This was a graduation present for my son to see Willie Nelson, his dream concert! StubHub was completely unhelpful & unapologetic during the entire meltdown I was having on the phone begging them to help me since we were already on our way to the concert. They said there were no tickets available for me to chose alternative tickets because the prices of tickets skyrocketed from when I purchased them. I don't even understand how it is legal for StubHub to sell tickets to me when they never actually had the tickets to sell. I wish I would have done more research on this company prior to purchasing. “I wanted lawn tickets that cost $50 at this venue for others I know, but they were sold out so I decided to try stubhub. I ended up paying $265 (the tickets incurred a total fee of $60) , then my friend cancelled and I ended up not being able to find anyone to go with so I resold them using stubhub. I followed the instructions to sell them, and when creating the listing I left the browser in order to look for the order ID in my email, and when I returned the listing form was empty, so because of that I accidentally listed three tickets (one for $100 and two for $101 each). I made my price based on the website's recommendations and was aware that I would already be losing $75 if both my tickets sold for $101 each, as stubhub takes a tax off your sale, but I just wanted most of my money back ASAP. They apparently not reimburse until 5-8 business days after the event, which is my fault for having ignored, but then when I went to contact customer service about a notification that showed up saying that I may have duplicate listings, the CS worker said that I "mustn't worry" and that my "case would be moved to the top of the list". I faced extra confusion after this because I was trying to follow stubhub's guidelines for transferring my tickets, and I never got a clear indication from them, or the site where my tickets were purchased from, that my tickets had successfully been transferred. Then the next day I was notified that one of my tickets had sold, so I followed the instructions to cancel the transfer I had been prompted to make by stubhub, and re-transferred one ticket to the recipient. Then like 20 minutes later I got notified that two of my tickets had been sold, and I was confused because I only ever purchased two tickets for the show, via stubhub or otherwise. I called customer support again only to have the first agent put me on hold for a long time and then eventually transfer me to another CS agent who informed me that not only would I be charged for the additional ticket I never owned to begin with, but that the previous agent I had spoken to the night before did not actually take any action to resolve the duplicate issue. So now I am out $175 and some change on tickets that should have been $50 each. I am only 20 years old but I have never had such a negative customer service experience, and I feel like I have been scammed by this service. I will likely never use any third party ticket buying/selling services and I most definitely will not buy or sell with stubhub again. I'm in college so it will take a while to financially recover from this and the event isn't for a month, so I couldn't have had a worse experience or made a worse mistake by using stubhub.”

“I ordered 8 tickets in total for the Miami open from 4 different vendors/people through Stub Hub. I received 6 of them and the other 2 never came through. I ended up purchasing new tickets and disputed the charges, which may CC did not reimburse me for due to Stub Hub's policies of saying they will replace them with comparable tickets (this also never happened). “This is the worst experience that I have ever had. I bought a ticket for the philharmonic concert in NY on February 24. At 4 pm when I realize that I still didn’t get a ticket, I called. The agent I spoke to, told me that they didn’t have a confirmation for me. I gave all information that could possibly help nada. The order number I got, she told me it wasn’t right. So klarna put a pause on the payments when I contacted them. Now it’s resumed. I called this morning, this one agent said he found my order but my email was wrong which is a lie. He wouldn’t process a refund for me. I’ve been buying tickets on live nation, ticket master, never had any of this issues before. Don’t order tickets from them they will steal your money and don’t deliver your order.”

I recently tried to sell tickets on StubHub and I must say, it was an absolute nightmare.
For those who are not aware of how it works, once you create a listing to sell, you need to transfer your tickets to activate the listing, losing all opportunities to sell somewhere else, as the tickets are not with you anymore.
I created a listing to sell 2 tickets for the Netflix Slam in Vegas starring Rafael Nadal & Carlos Alcaraz.
I successfully transferred the tickets from AXS, but StubHub never activated my listing, they lost my tickets, and claimed that were not received.
I was in Vegas for the match, and I missed the chance to sell in person, there were people looking for tickets in the venue, and stubhub was not able to track them, sell them, or give them back.
Stubhub asked me to call in 5 business days to get a resolution , and now they say the case is too late, it is expired, and just offered apologies for the inconvenience.
Really??? Not only the platform failed to provide adequate support, but their customer service has been shockingly careless and unresponsive. I have given them several opportunities to review the case without any positive result.
I have lost trust in StubHub and will never buy or sell tickets through them again.
From the lack of transparency to the unhelpful customer service representatives, my experience with StubHub has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. It's clear that this online reselling platform prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction, and I don't recommend it to anyone.
Save yourself the trouble and avoid StubHub at all costs. There are plenty of other reliable ticket-selling platforms out there that actually value their customers.

“DO NOT USE STUBHUB!! They let the seller by with selling the tickets on another platform for 4x the price. The seats were midcourt, 9 rows from the floor. Their poor "replacement seats" were in the corners 15+ rows up. There were actually tickets in the row directly behind my original seats, but they would not offer them to me since the price had gone up since my original purchase. No compensation was offered for taking the corner seats. I either had to accept these corner seats or not be able to attend the event. I spent 4+ hours on the phone dealing with these jokers. They do not stand behind the buyers in a fair way. I'm shutting my account down today.”

“Bought tickets for a game. Paid got the tickets right away. The fees I felt was high. Something came up and had to sell the tickets. Sold tickets on the 26th of March. Site says 3-8 days for your money. Day 9 comes and no money. I message and they say after the eight days it's a 5 day hold until the money is sent. Seller beware it's not a fast process.....1 star review”
