Riverford Organic is the market leader in organic vegbox home delivery. We have a range of 10 veg and fruit boxes to suit different sized households, and in addition a full range of organic groceries, including meat and meat boxes, dairy, wine, beer and bread.We grow award winning organic veg, and give you lots of recipes to help you enjoy it. You can order a box, add extra items from our range or create an order from scratch (minimum order value applies). Delivery is free by your local vegman or lady and there is no need to be at home when we deliver. There is no contract, so you aren’t tied in to anything and our vegboxes start from just 9.85.

Pushing "gender pay gap" on their business website. Quality of food also not up to scratch ...... in relation with price.

I cannot praise Riverfords enough and I certainly cannot understand the negative reviews. I have been ordering off Riverfords for a few months now and I have found their veg and fruit to be lovely and fresh. The meat is delicious and fresh.

Absolutely brilliant service. Caring, honest, great quality products. Easy to contact to resolve any issues with delivery or products. I use Riverford for 5 years. Only positive experience.

Not worth the money this is our second attempt at riverfords and thankfully our last. Missing items, rotten food, not good enough sorry goodbye.

Saw your produce at a stand in Borugh market. Absolutely pitiful wilted veggies. Staff at thebstand v defensive saying " well you can't expect veggies to remain fresh' as if they were doing me a favour to sell this pitiful stuff to me. Improve your quality and do what you claim. Provide top quality fresh veg as is widely available in the EU. Not limp English veg quality please. Your greens- kale and spinach and various salads were absoutley shocking . An absolute disgrace. Raise standards to those of your EU counterparts. And don't blame Brexit and COVID as is the customary contemporary English behaviour for suboptimal quality.

3 messed up deliveries in a row, freezer bags no longer being used. Service desk poor excuses and "I'll add £5 credit" solution made us decide after 2 years to stop using them. Service charge earlier this year was okay(ish) but the new schedule (and new contractor?) really messed things up.

Awful delivery. You're given no Eta then a series of conflicting times, then a no idea just wait all day. No one wants meat sat in a van all day. It's disgusting. They don't refund and all round don't care. It's been an ongoing issue of delivery with them. People need to stop using them

I really can’t praise this company enough! So happy to have found them. We initially started with ordering a veg box only but we’re so impressed with the taste and quality of the produce that we know but our fruit from them also. Yes it is more expensive than supermarket produce but there is good reason for that and you really so get what you pay for. I also really love the recipe kits that they do - these change weekly and use seasonal produce to create tasty little snacks and treats. Their ethos is amazing and I would much rather buy from them and pay a little more knowing that farmers are paid fair prices for their produce and me and my family are eating healthily without hidden toxins. Their service is amazing too - they check in from time to time with a phone call and their delivery drivers are lovely so reliable. They also collect and recycle any packaging from previous weeks. I really look forward to my delivery every week.

You are telling me as a response to my review that you are "proud you re not cheap"? Your grammar syntax has nothing to do with the food but rather with the fact that you are lgbt. What has to do this topic with food? you as a company became rude and manipulative playing at peoples need to eat. I wont be using you, as I do not need you, I am french and we have plenty of organic agriculture. It was shocking my experience with you and you should be ashamed of the way you re downgrading Britain and british people into rainbows... ha ! shame on you

Mostly very good quality produce, occasionally superb flavours in fruit and veg. The delivery people put the boxes wherever I want them even though I change the place depending on the weather. I just leave a note on the doorstep. Excellent customer service; they always refund for poor quality items. It is annoying to have to complain quite often but they strongly stress that they want to hear about problems so they can put things right.

Poor delivery service I was a new customer and the meat is really good, they deliver and ring my buzzer at 5am and when I call and complain they say they cannot do anything. I mean that they own driver I rather you get more driver to cover the area so you do not wake people up! 8-9am is ok but 5 am is really out of order i will not order again

The Riverford delivery has revolutionised our diet- I always try one of their simple recipes and get excellent results. Everything is tasty and fresh, it’s competitively priced and reliable - they communicate really quickly and the app is very good. If I have leftovers I make a big soup and blitz it. And it’s ORGANIC! They have genuinely biodegradable packaging and reusable delivery boxes. They get it right, no marketing twaddle, just good recipe suggestions every week in the box. Excellent choice.

I started ordering Riverford a few years ago. Great quality and varieties back then. However, things have slowly gone downhill since. I hope this changes before I stop ordering as I was trying to support local economy and environment.

Been with Riverford for a few years now and started ordering on a weekly basis since the pandemic. The veg is fresh and in great condition, if there has been a problem it’s addressed quickly. I’m very happy with their customer service. Would highly recommend them

After being a customer for 9 years I have been treated by this company in a way that is appalling, let alone the fact they never returned the keys of my house and I have been just kind to not call the police yet although I will have to do it soon as after 3 months there is no sign of care. It used to be a good company, after the boom with the Pandemic it has turned into a nasty business which is more interested in attracting new customers than taking care of long term ones. I have honestly never been treated that bad as by their sassy manager who shall rather work in a corporation than an apparently ethical company as the culture she can display is that of profit driven corporations. Sadly once again a good project betrays its values once the good people leave and the new people don't understand what the whole thing was about. Stay away from them.

RIVERFORD IS NOW A THOROUGHLY ROTTEN COMPANY ON EVERY LEVEL. It is said that "A fish always rots from the head down". Unfortunately, this top/down rot now envelops all of Riverford. [1] Their produce is rotten and the customer is challenged on complaint. ]2] Their customer service is rotten, staffed by uptight and miserable people of no care for the customer. [3 Their delivery service is rotten, with the customer having to engage in lengthy talks with management in an attempt to get their produce securely delivered to their door and not just left 'anywhere', something that is now acceptable to Riverford management. I have been a customer of theirs for 16 years. However, I have observed the rot set in over the last few years since Riverford bought out their attached franchises. Since then, everything has gone down hill. And now, there is zero respect for the customer. All courtesy has unravelled. Rather, there is a management in place that lacks good policy, lies, lacks integrity, is indifferent to problems that impact the customer, but is very good in applying regular price hikes to please their shareholders, no doubt. So, I am no longer a customer of Riverford and can only urge all those thinking of signing up to this company to walk on and walk away from a rotten experience and rotten produce in your delivery boxes.

I too have noticed a decline in quality and flavour over the last year. Sometimes items are going off a few days after delivery. Reduced my delivery to once a month and may stop altogether. Such a shame as i like supporting local producers.

We love our Riverford organic deliveries. We get a much wider range of organic fruit and veg than is available in our local supermarket, and it is good quality. We are pleased to support better prices for farmers too. We also buy milk, oat milk and butter for the same reason. We have been customers for a few years and have no plans to change.
