poor service. orders split up without notification; the main order delayed without delivery date

Unfortunately as shown on our website at the time of the order some goods were not in stock hence the it was part dispatched as per the instructions we received. We delivered the balance of the order just as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience that may have been caused. Customer Care Team

Ordered it on the 22nd December and its now the 11th Feb and still not arrived.

I am sorry you had to wait for your order. Unfortunately it took longer than expected to get these linkable fittings into stock hence the update emails to give customers the opportunity to cancel their orders if the delay is unacceptable.

Poor Service ordered 14/12 contacted customer service online - no response. After calling on 18/12 finally delivered 19/12. No option to change delivery or nominate a safe place. Advertised as one day delivery - arrived 5 days after order placed at 20:45 - lucky we were home!. Products seem ok - no use so can't realistically comment. Not all pieces ordered available upon delivery.

Not yet received my item .I was told on tracker it was delivered but no information given on where the parcel was left .Neither of my neighbours have received it .No response yet from customer services unfortunately

The spotlight plate was delivered but not the light bulbs on the same order. The driver said there was only one parcel. I e-mailed Lighting direct immediately after the driver left but to date I have had no response. Not very satisfactory

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I can see this was in a split delivery, not sure why, and it shows both were delivered, one on 14th and the other on 18th. Apologies for this, as you can appreciate the couriers are very busy at this time of year. Kind Regards Customer Services

Website stated item was in stock and available with 1 day delivery. Ordered item Monday evening, expecting this Wed or Thurs (worst case). Nothing arrived, called customer services to check and was advised lights were out of stock but delivery was coming in that day so should receive Saturday as couriers working weekends now. Rang again on Monday after no delivery to be told stock wouldn’t be arriving until Wed so would lucky to receive Thursday/Friday. Absolute joke! Not only do you continually break your promises but I was not even offered an apology by your Customer service representative, who honestly could give a toss. If had known I would ordered elsewhere as they were required urgently to be fitted as part of building work which was taking place. Needless to say I’m now having to fit these myself. Very very disappointing all round

Ordered two pendant ceiling lights. Lighting Direct suggested we needed specific bulbs so we purchased them a high cost. When the lights finally arrived 6 weeks late the bulbs did not even fit. Tried to return them but received no response to phone calls or emails to customer services. So we now have 10 bulbs at a cost of over £35.00 that are useless even though their supposed experts recommended them. Do not trust their recommended add-ons because custoemr servies will totally ignore you and will not replace them if incorrect.

Customers can initiate a very speedy return of any item simply by clicking the link on the website without the need to contact the customer service team. Parcels can be dropped off at a convenient point or collected directly from customers own premises if that is easier. Ordered in December 2020. Took payment of lights with expected delivery within a few days. They have no phone number to call and so written an email to be told the goods will arrive early feb. Tried emailing 3 times now to which I received no response and their website is indicating April delivery. Beware this company appears to be scammers and shame on channel 4 to allow their logo to be referenced in their website. If I continue to not get a response I guess I have no other choice but to report them as fraud.

Ordered a light in November for December delivery. Chase the delivery three times- rolling Manana. "We will update you if the delivery changes again." Not. Finally delivered in February.

We are very apologetic. We passed on expected delivery dates in good faith we can assure you. A combination of the prevailing issues affecting many industries caused huge logistic challenges. The last thing we want to do is disappoint our customers. The Customer Care Team

Good products and competitive prices but their delivery systems are haphazard and their communications demonstrate they have no idea where their packages are. Buy from them if you have no time delivery requirements and are willing to spend your time trying to track items and are able to be home 24/7.
