“To all just eat customer please be advised that should you have a problem with any of the parteners that use just eat to sell their food you will have no recourse whatso ever. The meal in question was absolutely not fit to eat as we opened the main dish the smell was stagnant water like a mop bucket that's been left full. It was dry and absolutely not fresh. The other dish was also smelly and the meat in it was like shoe leather my husband picked a piece out and tapped it on the work surface. This food was rancid and the restaurant should be inspected. We immediately threw the food in the bin. Just eats response is I'm sorry you weren't happy with the food in your recent order. All of our Restaurant Partners have their own recipes and cook in an individual style, so the taste, smell, and portion size of a dish can vary depending on where you order it. For this reason, I'm not able to offer you any refund or compensation on this occasion. I’ve reviewed your case again to see if there’s anything I can do, and I’m not able to overturn our original decision because it’s in line with our policy.”

“AVOID JUST EAT AT ALL COSTS. AVOID JUST EAT AT ALL COSTS. Ordered food on 18th of December from just eat. It was a McDonald's order. It didn't arrive. They won't give me my money back. Absolute shambles of an outfit. I've been on to them numerous times and got nowhere. STAY CLEAR!!! This company are thieves and are not be trusted. Amazed a firm of this size has got to where it is. Disgusting. They stole my money. They only got one star because I can't give a zero.”

“Unfortunately a 0 star rating was not an option, but as much as it broke my heart to give them a 1, it was necessary to share my abhorrent experience with this unprofessional, clueless bunch of *****! Order placed, paid for (and evidence provided by restaurant to say it left with the 'just eat' delivery driver). We still haven't received our order... Oh did I mention this was 2 days ago?! Being made to jump through hoops to get our money back, it's with the 'investigation team'. Live in hope they have attended a little more customer service workshops than their general customer service colleagues. Most awful experience of ordering food to date. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!.....”

“DO NOT USE Absolutely terrible service - I ordered a takeaway 16/05 and it never arrived, NO answer from the restaurant as I frantically dialed for the next hour after the delivery time, so contacted the just eat chat service after waiting for a queue for nearly 2 hours - A message flashed up about high call volume, and then I didn't move position again that night - so I had to start cooking tea for 3 really unhappy teenagers who I had promised the first treat in lockdown. I contacted just eat chat service the next day, they weren't willing to help and told me to contact the restaurant myself when I told them I had already done this and there was no answer, they tried telling me tough. I asked for a manager and as shocked when an agent said they don't want to speak to me - (WFT) I refused to take this as an answer and pushed to speak with a manager - they left me waiting for nearly 1.5hrs before a manager came on chat and said I needed to contact the restaurant - I explained the situation again and after some strong wording, they advised they would call them at 5 pm that day and call me back. surprise surprise no callback - I have been on chat since then numerous times with promises of callbacks - I have been on Twitter, Facebook, linked-in, and Instagram to get a callback- THEY IGNORE ALL. I have been promised lots of callbacks from managers and they have never happened. As a last resort, I have opened a complaint with a company called RESOLVER, and if you are in the same position as me, I would recommend they have written to me offering my own back (wow) and £5 compensation - for real. I'm so frustrated it's unreal. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH BAD SERVICE IN ALL MY 40 YEARS”

“Item listed as vegetarian I ate it twice and only on the third occasion did they call to say it wasn't vegetarian so they have caused me to eat product that is not compatible with my beliefs.”
