I tried to book our holiday online which it was asking us to pay the full amount instead of giving us the option to pay a deposit and the remaining closer to the date. I call through to hoseasons and spoke to agent at the new booking team called Daniel, he was so helpful with helping book the holiday and polite. I can really say the customer service from Daniel was brilliant.

I paid £75 for cancellation insurance and i tried to cancel and was told in no uncertain terms tough you can’t cancel and if you can’t make the booking send someone from your family or friends that can so i paid £501 for a chalet and £75 for insurance this company is a scam

We booked a caravan holiday with Hoseasons in Skegness, caravan site was called Coastfield. We had lot of issues with the caravan itself and parking. Firstly we were given wrong caravan. We booked caravan for Six people but we were given for 4 people. Secondly eating table was unsafe (Broken) to use and NOT enough stools to sit for Six people. There was NOT enough parking facilities for all the caravan. When we complained to Coastfields customer service we were told to talk to Hoseason. When we contacted Hoseasons, they told us to talk to Coastfields. Coastfields staff were not friendly nor apporachable. We were just passed to and fro and no one wanted resolved the situation. After we were forced to cut our holiday and return home. We would NEVER book a holiday with Coastfields or Hoseasons again.

Not Happy!! Scam!! Illustrate images which are far different than what you get!! We booked a motor home after checking all details and images of the motor home. Upon check in at the New Romney park holiday, was given the cheaper motor home!! Unfortunately the resort is fully booked so stuck with what was given!! I booked 4 Adults and 2 kids. Both my kids have autism and need to have their sensory activities at all times, so choose a motor home which showed a separate dining area so they comfortably settle. Booked Gold Class 3 but got a 2 which from images have separate dining area but instead have a a large 6 seater dining table middle of the lounge!! So basically lounge cannot be used for adults!! When kids are doing their activities or anyone eating. I am throughly disappointed and do not recommend! We trust you in paying the money and should get what we paid rather cheaper options.. I spoke with the Manager at site, they were trying to accommodate but clearly told me Sorry can't help as fully booked!! Hoseasons next time when you take someone's money check what's been offered to your customers and Don't illustrate wrong images making fools of customers!!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! They are absolutely scammers. I have attached a picture to this review of the lodge called Gwynedd Plas Isaf Lodge Retreat in Caerwys , Flintshire. Picture 5 clearly shows a hot tub right outside the patio and when I have received the confirmation it says that the lodge does not come with a hot tub. I call this misleading but according to them is that is not mislead and the description stated that only premium accommodation have hot tubs. How would you know which one of them is premium unless advised? This defects the main objective, is this lodge advertised with a hot tub when there isn't one? To rip people off. Read the reviews carefully and see how many feel have been fooled by this illustration. Their customer service is absolutely shocking. I have never encored such a rude advisor until today. No empathy whatsoever, speaking over the customer, asking them for 95% cancelation fee and doing absolutely nothing to helped them. The advisor I spoke too stated his name was Peter and refused to acknowledge the picture saying the hot tub is not clear in this picture, and therefore is non existing. Look at the picture I don't think it can get clearer that that. He was very rude, refusing to give me his name as part of data protection rules, when I mentioned that I will complain against him. He then stated "I gave you my name 4 times" but could not mention on what occasion he did this because he has not. I asked to speak to another staff members as he refused to address my concern and he declined. I asked to speak to a senior staff members and he stated that I can't. I will report this business further as they are misleading in all the ways and obviously still getting away with it.

Can you leave less than 1 star?! I initially booked a holiday with cottages.com but when I made amendments they cancelled and rebooked under hoseasons. My logins show cancelled in cottages com and booked in hoseasons. I had tried to pay my account but as it was showed as cancelled I wasn't sure what to do and no one answered my calls in months. I eventually contacted the owner of the cottage who gave me the new reference and searched in my emails, that when I realised it was booked under a new company!! I have been trying to call hoseasons since, still can't get through and paid a small amount off but the stress has left me just not wanting to go. I have tried to cancel the holiday but yet again no one answers the calls and when I eventually got through to someone on the webchat they told me I could only cancel through my online account at cottages.com and they refused to cancel, I explained that it was already cancelled in that account but was live in my hoseasons account. I even sent screenshots. They said they'd send me a login and then cut me off! What they have actually done is rebooked my holiday with a new reference number and still under hoseasons!!! I have contacted the owner who has tried to cancel it on my behalf and they are refusing to cancel from his end and have told me to call for a full refund! Thankfully I have screen recorded the ridiculous chat as evidence. The owner is trying to get it sorted but as of now I still have a holiday I have not paid for in full and cannot get through to anyone who will cancel it! I have Also contacted the parent company Awaze and I'm waiting for a reply! Absolutely appalling customer service and company.

Appalling, would give 0 stars if possible. Appalling service by these penny-pinchers. Booked 2 nights for my parents (£169) and it turns out they couldn't make it due to my sister-in-law having a very early labour, so they're staying home to support her. These guys couldn't care less - ''no amendments, no refunds''. Lack of empathy, understanding and the staff on their chats? Might as well have left me with the bots beforehand. Pathetic communication. You mentioned in an email to my parents that you ‘do not typically’ refund or change dates at this late stage. This is not a typical situation. By not allowing your customers to protect their finances with optional insurance, it’s a win-win for you. Things happen that prevent people from fulfilling their bookings. This is why most online booking businesses will allow their customers to purchase insurance in the event they cannot make the trip. You have not provided us with this security and are showing no signs of understanding. So I feel it is unfair to categorically deny an amendment of dates or a refund. All we are asked for is that we can use that £169.00 towards another date in the diary for the Elonby 1. We were happy to pay the difference if it turns out more expensive. A lack of empathy, understanding and just no effort whatsoever into even trying to come to an agreement. A complaint to an ombudsman will be coming your way as a result of the inevitable outcome of my complaint directly with you. Avoid these cowboys at all costs.

Booked accommodation using website and without realising they changed my dates to suit there sytem this now leaves me without accommodation my first night back in uk after overseas travel and paying for a night when I won’t be in the country. When asked to change my dates back to what I asked for was told we don’t do bookings for a Thursday to Thursday if this was made clear at time of booking I wouldn’t have booked at all but because I paid in full now have to pay a night I won’t be there and have to find alternative for my first night. I live in Australia and I am not impressed with this service very poor !!!

Checked with hoseasons before leaving home to confirm booking, told everything fine with booking. Arrived at site. No booking. Site wasn't aware of our arrival. Turned away. Helpdesk says to email complaints department, Still no response from complaints department, been a week, still waiting. Rubbish.

We booked to stay in a wales based log cabin about a year ago and paid £650 with a debit card. 3 weeks before we read the reviews and then showed pictures of dirty pillows, stained beds. We contacted Hoseasons and asked to move site. They initially said they couldn't but then agreed that at an additional cost they would change us. We paid £80 via a Mastercard to move location to Clumber Park, Worksop. We booked a 3 bed cabin with a hot tub. We received conformation and travelled. Upon arrival we were informed that no such booking existed. The reception desk were great and called Hoseasons. They hadn't sent the booking. We discussed and I agreed to take the only available 2 bed cabin meaning we had to cancel friends who were travelling to stay with us. We agreed with Hoseasons a £470 refund. We went to our room but lasted 2 hours. The path to the cabin had dog mess, the room stunk of wet dog. The carpets were dirty. We cut our losses and went home. We never asked Hoseasons for a full refund but rang them to ask that the £470 is paid onto our debit card. Hoseason refused saying they are required by law to pay back to the card we paid on. I agreed, the card we paid on was the debit card. We only paid a transfer fee on the credit card. The complaints guy Zak stated " I am not willing to pay this back to any other card as it is stipulated by law" . I pointed out that the debit card was used to pay for the holiday. He replied " I am just not doing it and I am now going to stay quiet as I have nothing else to say". Hoseasons have ruined our week, caused us wasted travel and Zak, the complaints manager was just rude and wouldn't listen to common sense. We will now have to requested money back via our credit card which has no balance even though we didn't pay with this for the main holiday. The security team at Clumber Park said they have lots of trouble with Hoseasons quoting " they book out cabin 54 as having a hot tub and it hasn't. We get lots of disappointed people. We have had 3 complaints via hoseaso s customers tonight.". We have booked several trips before with Hoseasons but never again. Avoid the spiraling downwards company. They may be a little cheaper at times but you risk ruining your holiday. The consumer act explicitly states, in s34: (7) The trader must make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as the consumer used for the initial transaction, unless the consumer has expressly agreed otherwise. Initial transaction Hoseasons. That was my debit card. Your behaviour has been nothing short of disgusting customer service.

I booked a chalet in cornwall and i had the foresight to take out the so called cancellation insurance for a further £75 when unfortunately my partner had her annual leave amendment i tried to cancel via customer service i was spoken to with sarcasm no empathy or understanding and i was told well if you can’t go can you get another member of my family to go instead this company is appalling they miss sold me insurance which virtually covers you for nothing please do not fall for this scam

When trying to book a holiday in the Lake District I booked a caravan which turned out to be in Scotland when I tried to cancel the booking Hoseasons said I had to pay in full and that there was no cooling off period , these people are scammers and you cannot complain to ABTA because they say there is no laws for holiday bookings Avoid Hoseasons they are a scam company

Recently stayed at Brean Sands paid for lodge with hot tub. On arrival was given down graded, tired small lodge and rang owners and Hoseasons said no record of phone call confirming hot tub and now fully booked! Had to stay in lodge given. Fridge did not work went to reception waited til next day for replacement which was smelly and broken. They suggested we put our food in Supermarket down road! Eventually new fridge turned up but no freezer. When they delivered fridge they left lodge door and gates open and my dogs got out onto main road! Neither the owners or Hoseasons were helpful at all. On return emailed customer services with issues they offered 20% off next holiday. Received phone call from customer services a man called Zac and was offered refund to be put onto card used to pay for holiday with but after 18 days of no refund I rang them and he absolutely denied the phone call ever happening and said they did not offer me a refund and it’s my word against theres, again!! The attitude was disgusting basically accusing me of lying and they wont be offering any kind of compensation! Shame because I had been holidaying with my grandchildren there for many years and the location and the beach is perfect. After the way they have treated me I definitely won’t be holidaying there again.

Hoseasons cannot deal with complaints, all they want is your money. I have never had a worse holiday caravan and they didn't care. After asking to escalate my complaint, they just ignored it and never even replied Book with ANY company other than hoseasons. Shame, as they used to be a good Company. My whole family are very disappointed after giving hoseasons thousands of pounds over the years, But Never Again

Was upgraded to silver.caravan outstanding caravan with luxury fixtures large TV.en suite.lovely real effect electric fire in lounge. Wrap around decking with solar lights everywhere outside.even had dishwasher! Didn't feel cramped in it.two really comfy sofas and lovely firm bed.would recommend.

We stayed at Brockwood Hall in the Kent Lodge and whilst the surroundings were beautiful the experience and property sadly did not live up to the area. The main issue with the stay was that for 2 of the days, work was being carried out directly behind our lodge which included drilling that ran until 5pm each day. It was unbelievably noisy (I did complain to staff at the time) and disruptive to the point we had to sit in the back bedroom to try and watch or hear tv/music. Rather than staying in a city or hotel, we chose to stay in a lodge for a peaceful and relaxing trip, to read books, enjoy the hot tub and surroundings. This was impossible due to the work being carried out. We were asked on both days to move our vehicle as the workmen needed to leave their equipment there which was inconvenient for running out to grab things in the weather. Everything outside of our lodge was covered in a thick layer of dust and no one ever came to clean this or ask us to move our belongings inside. The lid to the hot tub was damaged (a split down the middle) which meant all of the dust also fell into the hot tub rendering it impossible to sit in. We also had clothes we had left to dry outside from the first day, which were also left ruined and covered in dust. This meant that the hot tub was essentially out of use for us for two days and nights which given that was one of the reasons we selected the lodge. I absolutely appreciate that this work may have been unavoidable but it did massively impact our holiday and we were not offered any kind of repayment. In addition, the lodge itself felt tired and unkept. Unclean with cobwebs, dirt and dust sat in the corners of each room. (Completely understand it's a lodge in the wood but as the photos show this is way beyond that) HDMI sockets broken in the back of TVs Carpet pulled up and worn Sofas worn and dirty Holes in the bathroom walls Missing shower components and mould I complained directly to the lodge and also to Hoseasons and they have a one-month response period which I believe is appalling. If you do receive a response, you then have to wait another 28 days for a follow up reply.

We booked through hoeseasons for Torquay we requested ground floor apartment as I have osteoarthritis and we said no stairs .Got to the site to say first floor couldn’t swap they weren’t interested either stay or go home got up the stairs didn’t go back out first night Friday sat got downstairs then back up later then stayed in Sunday came home couldn’t stayed longer place was filthy rusty microwave grill pan full of fat still waiting for refund from them won’t book with them again

Peter from customer service was so rude and unhelpful. They are so hungery for people's money that once booked they will never refund any or even some of the money back if you would want to cancel or ammend the booking.

Awful caravan, small, not clean and terrible value for money considering that ir was supposed to be a superior one Hoseasons customer service awful after complaining on site. As others have said they just want your money and don't care about customers BOOK ELSEWHERE, I WILL NEXT TIME
