“Absolutely shocking service. Ordered a dress, awful quality and fit & therefore wish to return it. No reply to email, non-contactable full stop!! Very annoyed! Do not purchase from them!!”

“Bandits! Ordered and paid on the 24th August, but still no delivery. Have e-mailed several times but only get an automated response stating they will reply within 24 hours, their phone number is not operational and now their website is "down for maintenance".”

“I purchased a bespoke dress on the 19th of July. There has been no sign of the dress. The tracking link they sent me does not work. They phone number I ring has a recorded message saying "The phone lines are not operational today" - I have tried every day. I have emailed them 6 times, left 2 messages on Instagram and 2 messages on Facebook... still nothing. Extremely disappointing. Missed 2 events that the dress was purchased for. Very very bad.”

“Rubbish customer service via email. Dress looks cheap & not sized correctly. Total waste of money & very expensive for what it is. Would not recommend this company. They don’t even provide a phone number to call them to complain!”

“Shocking customer service. Made to measure dress was ordered and paid for (£279) on 19th July and has still not arrived, some 4 weeks later. I have sent 5 emails and messages via Facebook and no response at all. The event the dress was ordered for has now passed. I will be taking the matter further.”

“I have ordered from GC three times, once several years ago, then twice in the last month. First 2 orders no problem, arrived as expected and quality was good. The last one however could not have been more different. I ordered 5 days before my night out thinking with the 3-5 day delivery it would be fine. No order arrived. Website just says 'processing'. I have tried to contact them by email (twice) and Twitter (twice) - NO reply!! No phone number to contact them and basically just ignoring me. To be honest it's a joke that they don't offer a premium next day delivery and/or tracked option like EVERY other online retailer. When I do eventually get my outfit I'll be too scared to return it because I doubt I'll get my money back. Well done GC - great way to turn a loyal customer into an enemy! I'll be sure to tell everyone I know.”

“DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!! I bought a maxi dress for an occasion, it arrived almost a week later than it should so then I had little time to find an alternative. It was very poorly made with cheap looking/feeling fabric. Absolutely not worth the money. Currently trying to contact them regarding return but no phone number & no reply to emails. Totally shocking service!”

“Bought a yellow playsuit from you on 10th June. I returned the playsuit on 14th June .... it is now 16th July and I have still not received a full refund (£129.00) despite having had an email saying that it has been received and a full refund will be issued. When I email I just get ignored. You now have the playsuit and my money!! And no way of contacting you as I just get ignored. If you want to be robbed buy from this company otherwise avoid at all costs”

“TERRIBLE service. Dresses arrived 2 weeks late, no help from customer service. No tracking for items. Had to get a friend to fly and deliver them for me in Russia just a day before an event because they did not arrive in time in London. Would NOT recommend to ANYONE. Stay away”

“DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I bought a jumpsuit, for over £100 it is very poorly made (not worth the money) looks cheap. However I wanted to return, it’s still saying it’s processing, so won’t give me an option to create a return OR print the returns label. I have sent ALOT of emails, even tried contacting them via instagram 2x. No reply! It’s been a week. I’m stuck with a cheap looking poorly made jumpsuit, I don’t want to pay to send it back because I know won’t hear from them again. So I am raising an dispute. SHOCKING SHOCKING company/customer service and worse of all SHOCKING cheaply looking clothes. STAY AWAY, YOU'VE BEEN WARN!!!”

“Quite frankly if you want to look cheap & outdated buy from this site. Tacky packaging & tackier fabric. Looked like I’d bought the dress from a market stall! Not worth the money at all.”

“Very poor fabric & fit is awful. Upon complaining I found the customer service appalling! I would be very wary before parting with your money for shoddy goods. Dress doesn’t even look like it would cost £20 let alone £200!!!”

“Outrageous site. Be aware and do not buy from them. Sent me a faulty dress and now refuse to refund me my money. I am having to raise a dispute. Never known a company so desperate to sell a dress! Ridiculously poor communication - they refuse to speak by telephone and take days to respond to emails and then deal in a very unprofessional way.”

“I bought a khaki green dress from gorgeous couture. The fitting was horrible I have never seen anything like it. The worst thing is 3 weeks till now as I'm writing my money isn't refunded. I mean 3 weeks after returning the dress on the 3/4/2017 today is 21/4/2017 but I don't have my money.”

“The Bailey maxi dress I ordered bobbled after 1 wear. I sent this back to them for them to repair/exchange. They don't keep you updated and don't come back to you when the agree to. You have no number to phone them either. After 5 weeks of having my dress they are returning the faulty dress today as they say there is nothing wrong with their fabric. I beg to differ as it should not have bobbled after 1 wear. So I'm nearly £200 out of pocket and left with An unwearable dress. I'd never use them again and suggest you order with caution!”

“Highly Suspect Company no contact phone number on web site. Appalling customer services that take over 24 hours to reply to an email and that's if you're lucky to get a reply at all. My order was placed and cancelled the following day due to the concerns and bad feedback that I had been given by friends. Fortunately I made payment via PayPal but I am still waiting for the refund and now it's been seven days. Beware better off looking elsewhere, what looks good in the picture probably won't be what you receive, if you actually receive anything. I suspect this review site is actually run by Gorgeous Couture.”
