Made an order (£24 including delivery cost), entered my correct address, the system truncated my address removing part of it. As a result Royal Mail could not deliver, because part of the address was missing. Dotmaison gave me two options: 1. Pay additional £10 for re-delivery or 2. Return the item and pay for failed delivery £5. Chose the second option and to never shop here again. Understand it’s none’s fault. But I believe it’s the business that should absorb the cost or it’s system failure, not the customer.

I’m giving 1 star because the return wasn’t pleasant. I didn’t pay for delivery of my original order however as I retuned only part of my order, had to pay postage for return and original order.

The Voronoi 111 lamp has changed in size and does not match the other I have. This is not Dotmaison's fault. The manufacturer, Tala. do not seem to care.

After purchasing a gift for Christmas for my granddaughter I found in a couple of days later it was reduced. I have found this company hounds you and although unsubscribing twice I was left to ring them to cancel. Know I find they are still communicating with me and I’m very frustrated.

Bought set of coffee spoons. Would have been useful to know their dimensions before purchasing as they were tiny-they don't look tine in the photos next to the other cutlery. Cost me £10 to have them delivered then returned. Discount offered wasn't applied in the first instance, had to E mail them after I had paid for them. Returns had to be within 2 weeks of paying for the returns label. Had no confirmation of receipt once I had returned them, had to E mail them to ask if they had received them. Quality of product was good but wouldn't buy them off this site again.

I have no idea if the product is any good as it never made it to me sadly. I had an email on the 11/7 saying the item was on the way and then nothing until I contacted them to find out where it was. Customer services were good at contact but seemed to be happy to wait on Royal Mail and their slow responses. I managed to source the item out of the uk and get it sent dhl all while still waiting on Royal Mail. I was then told a refund was not possible because they were waiting on Royal Mail still. The matter should now be resolved and hope fully a refund is on the way fingers crossed. This was my first shopping experience this dotmaison and it's safe to say will probably be my last. Sad as some of the products look great.

We're sorry to hear there's been an issue with the delivery of your order, we've looked into this for you and can see the courier attempted to deliver however was unsuccessful therefore left a calling card. Your parcel was then delivered to a requested pick up shop however was never collected which resulted in the parcel being send back to us. We will reach out to you , to resolve the issue for you. When purchasing from this company I did ask not to be contacted with marketing rubbish or any correspondence that is not related to my order - well, they didn't respect my wishes! I wonder what else they have done with my personal information!

Dear Customer , We are very sorry you are dissatisfied and we have messaged you directly, however we can see that you actually did subscribe to our newsletter and also that you utilised a discount code which was supplied with your first welcome email. You then subsequently unsubscribed, since when we have not sent any further marketing emails to you. We have sent you the audit trail and timeline of when you subscribed, when you placed your order and when you then unsubscribed. We are very careful with customer data and we do absolutely respect customers wishes, we would certainly never abuse customers data in the way which you intimate. Beware of hidden costs when returning items. I ordered 3 items and 2 were not suitable. The pillow cases that I kept were lovely but cost me an additional 11 pounds due to return cost of 4.99 and postage of 5.99 being deducted from my refund. I will order from John Lewis next time as there are no hidden costs.

I ordered from them a month ago. The delivery driver forged my signature and faked the delivery. I already contacted customer service several times and till today I still haven’t received my order.

I have looked into this and can see that there is currently an ongoing investigation with the courier regarding the delivery of your order. Unfortunately this is standard protocol as the driver's GPS location at the time of delivery is correct. As the parcel has been delivered to an apartment building the courier will need to determine exactly who accepted the parcel in order to get it you as promptly as possible. Hello, than you for your review. Tracking shows that your item was delivered and signed for and the gps coordinates of the driver at the time of delivery confirm he was at the given delivery address. So far I am really disappointed with Dot Maison. I was not happy with the good I ordered, and not only do they require that I pay the return cost, but also that they deduct the original postage from my account. This will leave me £15 out of pocket to return something. I noted that the good was not as per the pictures but they still insist I need to pay for postage both ways.

I can confirm that no original shipping charge has been paid as your order qualified for free standard shipping. In regards to your return, we would love to be able to offer free returns to all of our customers, but unfortunately, it currently isn't feasible for us to do so.
