I was charged over £4 when I placed an order with Damart. I shall take my business elsewhere next time. BEWARE

Damart use a premium call rate number as their main contact number. Please be aware that it may cost your more to order an item than it costs to buy. The small print tells you this and it does not sound much, until you are kept waiting for 10 mins as your order is being placed.

I brought a twin pack of Tops (item number K165X). They are beautiful. I really did like This Twin pack in Raspberry Colour. It's a pity that they damart have stopped doing this one.

I have been a satisfied customer of Damart for years but have been disappointed in the quality and sizing of the items I’ve received in the last couple of years. Due to the inconvenience of returning items I have made a decision not to place any further orders.

WARNING! -- Jumper advertised £18.99 but when it comes to paying, price turns into £31.99 -- complaint about fraudulent advert was ignored and £18.99 promptly returned -- DONT BE TEMPTED to buy anything from them

I called Damart to ask them to stop sending brochures to my address for the previous occupant. The call was under 4 minutes but I ended up with a £4.88 charge on my phone bill. Disgusting. You should be advised when the call is answered of these charges. If I was ever thinking of using Damart in the future I won't!!

Charged £21 for 3 phone calls to say you had delivered to wrong address you did refund me and sent my order to the right address which I had given you in the first place £21 was much to steep

Having waited weeks for previous large orders, my latest order has been returned as not in stock and I would have to wait too long. I would have been willing to wait and did not ask for a refund but clearly Damart are offering clearance deals which are not available and should be investigated as this is very unfair to mainly elderly customers.

Everything that is called On-line is being turned into a tool to exploit citizens in every possible way. Damart is sending me a cheuque instead of refund.. They say that I paid them with a cheque whereas I have never paid anything with a cheque in my entire life...!! They withhold my money for weeks !!.. Because banks have shut down too many branches, there is no bank in my area.. and I will need to travel to reach the bank just for Damart's cheque/refund.. Everyone, particularly banks and businesses are hiding behind screen, and they have made it too difficult to reach them.. on purpose I suppose!!.. I am personally Done with On-Line all together!! .. I am really tired and fed up.. CASH & FACE-TO-FACE & BUSINESS AS USUAL .. that is the old and centuries tested way of trade. And YES IT IS THE BEST On-line has turned banks and business' minds go crazy!! There is no longer customer centered services .. That so called technology has been made like this, to allow unlimited abuse and aggressive behavior against every citizen. What is coming next upon us.. if we continue accepting their abuse..??

I recently ordered a set of two cotton vests size 14/16. When they arrived they were not as featured in the catalogue and so narrow I thought they must fit someone size 6/8 ! When I phoned and explained this to someone in the so called 'customer service' I was amazed at her rude and unhelpful reaction when I also told her that the wrong size label was probably applied in the factory, she said this was impossible. No apology was given and she would not agree to refund my postage, and for these reasons I will not be using Damart again.

I sent off for a half price cardigan featured in a leaflet in my newspaper. I waited several weeks for it with explanations for the delay. It arrived at last and the colour was certainly not dark sapphire blue as described but more of a greenish turquoise. Very disappointing. I will keep it as not worth returning it. I tried to let customer services know but not possible unless I paid for a phone call. Shame. Pleased with rest of order.

Don't buy anything from Damart anymore since Evri courier slung parcel over back gate when we have a clear sign by the doorbell say DO NOT LEAVE IN GARDEN.

94 year old relative asked me to place order on her behalf after receiving offers by post, none of which she could use as she wanted to pay by debit card. I now find the phone call to order over £50 worth of goods cost over £12.

I waited weeks for a pair of navy cotton cropped trousers as they were out of stock. I have had these before and they were fine. Today they finally arrived, but they are different from the photo on the website. Those trousers are tapered at the calf but the ones I received are wide and flap around. They look like clown trousers. I am annoyed as Damart charge for both delivery and returns. I complained once before when an item did not match their description but they refused to refund postage.

recieved the 2 pairs of trousers i ordered pretty quickly but they looked nothing like the catalogue picture and resembled 2 creased rags therefore they were sent back, the top i ordered at the same time still hasnt arrived and its now been 6 weeks of waiting. will not be ordering from damart ever again

Told me haven't fulfilled any orders as not paid wrong turned out statement received 6 months later had only their 12 admin fee on it I didn't owe any money so I paid it off they were rude to me on phone after sending me a 3rd one I paid 2 but refused to keep paying they insisted next thing they sent me an old order that was cancelled 2 shoes and a jacket in wrong size style color I had to pay to send whole lot back I called them and they wouldn't help and sent me another statement with them on it I called again she said you have to return in wk I said its 2 days she said you will not anything about it as it takes 6 weeks to do a refund was sent a demand for another 12 pounds I'm too afraid to call them as it now will be 5 x 12 a d I paid 2 of them I'm furious Out of pocket in multiplr

Seems like want to direct you to a premium rate number, Do not ring this but ring the 0330 number Shocking customer service Charging an 85yrs old pensioner not only £3.99 for delivery but also another £3.99 to return an jumper that looks nothing like what was advertised.
