“Tried to purchase a microwave oven from a different retailer but I needed an account. Turns out I already had an account from years ago but I'd forgotten the password. Had problems resetting my old password so a six digit code was sent to my email - and I suddenly thought to myself: 'I'm the customer here! - do you want my money or not?' So I abandoned the retailer and found the same microwave oven for sale at Comet. I was able to purchase as a guest (thank you), no SMS verification codes, no stress. Two days later my microwave oven arrived, which I'm very happy with. I rarely leave positive reviews but the digital prison that is being imposed on us is making life intolerable. Comet offered a simple, no fuss way to purchase. I am sincerely grateful.”

“Ordered ps5vr2 online Order turned up Headset did not work Tried contacting via email, email kept firing back as undelivered I Rang up, explained situation, was told they would email me, I told them i needed to return it asap as its for xmas present Tried to make me send it to Sony for repair (20-30 day turn around) I explained its never worked, it turned up faulty so its there problem, basically they wanted there cut of the selling price but wanted me to do what they are regulatory required to do as stated in there T&C`s Informed them i require a return postage label to return item.. Then.... RADIO SILENCE £569.00 for a item that never worked Order #C23224”

“Awful company, delivery took a lot longer than led to believe when purchasing, paid extra to have dishwasher plumbed in but upon arrival drivers did not speak a word of English, cut his finger and bled all over my kitchen floor only to tell me they couldn’t do the job and were prepared to leave me with no water! Tried calling Comet to complain and get money back but after many attempts still have not heard anything. My plumber luckily came out straight away and plumbed the appliance in within minutes. Would never buy from Comet again. Very poor all round.”

“Brought a fridge freezer to be told will be delivered within 7 days. Then from 2nd may puchase said delivery date 17th! Then attempted delivery to wrong address even though coment had the correct address deliver service somehow never and only had 7 morville street. Then after correcting and telling them i am disabled please call and they said they would they never still went wrong address!!! Was told they would call me back never then sold my item and told me its out of stock!!!! Then was told i would be refunded straight away as money was never taken was pending yet still now no refund no fridge freezer been left waiting now cant get any anywhere as all are sold out fuming and disabled with 3 kids will be taking this further especially as not been dealt with correctly or refunded!!!! Bang out of order this is. No refund so unable to purchase a fridge as my benefits money has already gone towards the fridge I brought which you guys have sold on!!!!!”

“I ordered 2 Fitbit watches at a cost of £399, only 1 watch as despatched and delivered. I have been trying to contact their customer services for 1 week now and I have only received correspondence to say that the package was delivered. I have tried explaining that only 1 package was delivered and the other has not been despatched. Still no correspondence! Absolutely shocking customer service! I'm currently still out £199!”

“Comet were a terrible company they deserved to go out of business they never respected there customers. The staff who worked there were badly paid kids who virtually knew nothing about the products they were sell but were happy to hard sell you into a useless warranty. I ordered an american fridge from them online last year, it was delivered late and when it developed a problem a couple of weeks later it took forever to get the problem sorted. I must have spent a good couple of hours on the phone. Other companies should take note, good customer service will help your business in the long run.”

“I have bought 4 items from Comet and every last one of them has broken and I have had a fight about trying to get them fixed or replaced. I have recently purchased a tv/dvd combi from them which broke within 2 months and I have had to wait about a month for anyone to even look at it then a further month for it to be fixed and they don´t even seem to be bothered that I have been messed about. Never mind the fact when you phone the customer service number you get cut off almost everytime you phone!!!!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! Lisa McLaughlin - Unbeatable.co.uk”

“I ordered a laptop on-line and picked it up at the store without further investigations, as unfairly suggested by the confirmation mail. In this way, after opening the box, I was not anymore eligible for a full refund. After 5 days of trials I realized that the product was not as good as it was supposed to be and I returned it to the shop, but I only got 90% of my money back. Johnny - unbeatable.co.uk”

“Lens fails to pop out after 6 months. Guy looked at it for a nanosecond and said we broke it accusingly. And accidental damage is not covered - Of COurse! Poor customer display. dave - Unbeatable.co.uk”
