Very unhelpful when i had a problem with connecting the phone to our system they didnt want to know, they just fobbed me off and asked me to get a ticket to the manufacturer who did not back to me. When the phone was sent back they accused me of having sent the phone back scuffed which i did not!!!. they then had the cheek to deduct £15.52 of the refund. DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

This is pretty much the worst buyer we have ever encountered. Purchased a 4.5k conference system in May yet we are now in August and still half system not working. Returned the faulty item months ago and heard nothing. Avoid like the plague. Trust me on that else you will regret it.

I bought 160 pound draytek 2762vac modem/router from them (supposed to be a good brand), mind that I live in Greece, the router stopped synchronizing to the wan all of a sudden after a couple of months, I returned it and asked for a replacement, they told me that they wouldnt replace it but fix it, I was kinda infuriated by that because I did not trust their "repair guy" and wanted an trustworthy and they seemed to finally agree to replace it via the returning it to the company... because it took so long for them to repair it (back and forth asking for the status of the RMA) I decided to buy a replacement router locally, then after some time they told me that they fixed it!! I was dissapointed and told them that I spoke with the manager lady (cant recall her name ) and that she told me that she will replace it then after a few back and forth phone calls she agreed to return me the money and I told her that I would like to get an other more expensive draytek model (which was at the time out of stock) obviously by adding the extra cost from my side and told her that it doesnt matter I would wait (since I already have bought a replacement locally) I also gave them a list of potential modem/routers by draytek that I would be interested in (and for some reason all were out of stock despite being a mix of brand new a 1 to 2yo product SKUs) and told them to mail me if something gets in stock and dont worry if it takes some time, anyway after a month with 0 communication I found my old draytek (NOT a replacement unit) in my mail box and I was just dissapointed (I would give 3 stars if it had been only that) but the icing on the cake was (partially my fault for not testing it out because I didnt consider them to be that incompetent or scammers and also mainly because I already had a bought a replacement locally and did not need it) that once I tried it out (wanted to install it in warehouse which did not have internet access untill then) it just did NOT WORK, so they didnt fix it BUT THEY MADE IT WORSE (because when I sent it to them for RMA it just couldnt synchronize, probably some fault on the modem side but was perfectly working as a router and the USBs worked an everything else) now I cant even log in (obviously tried to reset it and to flash the firmware etc I am technicall and know my networking I tried even to ssh into it which worked but couldnt retrieve the logs) once I log into the router it just doesnt load the page(well only some HTML links which dont work such as "HOME" but anything else is grayed out and it has no leftside menu as it should), then the router crushes and then it shows me the login page again.... Not doing what you promised is one thing, but returning the item in an even faultier condition is just a scam! Mind that there couldnt possibly be the postage carrier's fault cause it was safe in its original box which didnt appear to have any external damage also the router is in perfect cosmetic condition... just shame on you 150 pounds wasted.... Thank god for brexit... (love you guys in england and the country in general but as far as customer service goes here in the EU we have 2 year warranties and if something especially small devices turn out to be faulty especially in the first months we get a brand new item back no questions asked! I bought it from them only because they were like 30 pounds cheaper including postage compared to buying it locally but I why they are cheaper and regret doing business with them, they seem big that's why I kinda trusted to buy from them but they are either a fake outlet that pretends to be big and is actually a small brick and mortar store or they just dont care about servicing small time customers... but they gladly accept their payment .... shame on you! )

This is one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had with an online retailer. On Tue, 4 May, I placed an order for 8 hard drives. The order was shipped on time on the 5th May, and I received the drives, which were well packaged. Sadly, one of the drives was faulty on arrival, so I initiated the RMA process. I posted the drive, insured at my own cost, and following testing was given the all-clear by them for a replacement drive by Fri, 14 May (2 days in testing). The order was then held in “Your return has now been passed to customer services for completion.” and “Awaiting product dispatch/refund"... On Wed, 19 May I raised a ticket to check the status with Customer Services. I got back: “Your ticket is now solved! Helen Thu, 05/20/21 9:06 am Hello, The replacement unit will be dispatched today for you and be with you tomorrow. Many thanks, Helen” A little annoyed that I had to request an update for the order to proceed, I decided not to worry, at least it was being shipped now… On the 22nd May, still no change to the order status… so I sent a message: “I can see that in the web UI, this still shows as "Awaiting product dispatch/refund". Was the unit dispatched yesterday / today? Also will I see a shipping tracking number anywhere?” … no reply. 4th June, I opened a new ticket… and got: “Hello Jon, I truly apologise for the delay. It appears that we have no stock of the ST16000NE000. We have ordered some but the ETA is unconfirmed at the moment so as soon as the stock arrives we will ship the replacement. I apologise for any inconvenience caused. Kind regards” So, I waited for them to get back to me… and waited… 29th June … I opened yet another ticket with them after I checked on other websites for stock levels. 3 other providers had available stock; broadbandbuyer still didn’t. “Please be advised that there seems to now be no ETA for more stock of the Seagate ST16000NE000 IronWolf Pro 16TB SATA Hard Drive for NAS w/ 7200RPM 6Gb/s 256MB Cache from our authorised suppliers at this time.” I enquired when there would be stock, again, I offered to maybe take an alternative 18tb product and pay the difference… and was told: “Please be advised that the ETA for the Seagate ST18000NE000 IronWolf Pro 18TB SATA Hard Drive for NAS w/ 7200RPM 6Gb/s 256MB Cache is yet to be confirmed, however are hoping for a delivery with these to arrive within the next 1-2 weeks. Pricing for the 18TB drive is to be confirmed once stock lands. Would you like to amend this replacement order to the 18TB version once the stock arrives? Alternatively, we can refund you the price you originally paid for the 16TB drive.” After a long email thread, I asked them to let me know when they had this stock in, and I would pay the difference for the 18tb drive. I waited, and waited… 15th of July, after 2 weeks had passed, I emailed them once again. They say there is still no stock, and no ETA on either product becoming available. So, I finally capitulated and accepted a refund, accepting that I will be out of pocket, as a replacement is now ~£100 more at other suppliers. They quote me a refund of £344.77 + VAT. This is when the final insult happens. After agreeing, I get a 2nd email saying there had been a typo in their previous email, and that they have already cancelled the order and issued a refund for £334.77 + VAT. They did not contact me to ask if this was still ok - they just went ahead and processed it. So now I am out of pocket for yet more money… All in all, the saga lasted over 2 months. I have been without my HDD for the whole period, watching the price going up, and there always being stock available at at least one other retailer. I am out of pocket over £100. If they had just told me that they could not fulfill the order, I would be less annoyed. What makes it worse, is that they will presumably be getting my warranty replacement from the manufacturer, which I’m sure they will sell at a profit. The communication has frankly been awful, and I have had to chase multiple times. Never have they tried to make it right, and never have they offered me anything for the inconvenience caused.

Always use company for all my cabling needs. Dispatch is fast and packaged well. Checkout process easy and customer services are always helpful in the (rare) event of a problem.

I tried to return an item on the day I received it as it was delivered damaged. Broadbandbuyer refunded the postage only. I’m really not impressed. Clearly a company that aren’t bothered, they’re just after money.

Initially I thought they were ok. But when I had to return an item (costing over £100) which had insisted I had caused the fault. Won't be using them again.

I obviously can't speak for other people but I've been using Broadbandbuyer for several years and they've become my 'go to' supplier. About a year ago a friend asked me to set up a business standard WiFi network throughout a large and oddly shaped house. I got wonderful detailed advice and support over many calls and emails from someone there and I then had the system installed. My friend is higely impressed with the WiFi, which operates brilliantly throughout his house and out onto the very large back garden area. *Full marks to Broadbandbuyer.* They have yet to let me down and I'm about to buy from them again. A well deserved 5 stars.

I have tried to be a customer of this company via their website. However, https://broadbandbuyer.co.uk/ gives me a 403 and the company do NOT respond to email. Their loss as I shopped elsewhere.

I've ordered many items of networking and WiFi equipment from broadbandbuyer over many years and have never had any issues. I first found them back in 2013 as a reliable supplier of Draytek routers, which I highly rate. Since then I've come back many times for Ubiquiti WiFi and other equipment. They carry a lot of stock from a wide range of quality brands, with a decent website, hence why I keep coming back.

I have used this company over a number of years to supply Wifi and network equipment. They consistently have the best prices for equipment and always have plenty of stock. They have been very helpful on the odd occasion they have been out of stock. If I had one minor criticism, I have had a couple occasions over the last few years where dispatch has been a bit slow but it has not put me off using them and usually there is no issue. Overall, I would recommend this company and I will continue to use them whenever I need Wifi/network equipment.

I needed advice on how to extend our broadband to an outbuilding. They couldn't have been more helpful and explained exactly what was required. Delivery was spot on too. Thoroughly recommended.

14 days and still counting... I've placed my order on 29/12/2015 and today is 12/01/2016 and do you know what? I still didn't receive it!.. I sent several emails to them but received copy&paste automated responses - no solutions, no results. I rang them up today and they told me that they have numerous orders right now so they may fail to follow up each and single order. What a shame... Their approach is not professional at all. I would recommend the business owner to upgrade their systems and provide career training to the staff as it seems the service fails to satisfy customer expectations. 14 days and still counting...

I don't usually go the effort of writing negative reviews, but this time i'm so amazed at how poor this company are i've actually had to warn others. They sold us cameras not fit for purpose in the UK, to a company in the UK, for use in the UK and then they disputed returning them, and denied they were broken, despite the fact we've been installing CCTV for over 12 years.

Purchased a Cisco Smartnet Contract on 21/08/14 Cisco Smartnet takes at most 5 days to set up, I have been in contact with Accounts and Customer Service regularly, to at every time be told wait till the end of the day, which I have done on every occasion. 03/09/14 early hours of the morning e-mailed Accounts once more to query the status of the contract or get a refund, response at 08:59 was, here's the contract attached, I tried to use the contract number sent to me on Cisco to associate it with my account, by 11AM I have Cisco telling me the contract is someone else's and the are considering severing all my contracts on suspect of fraud, looking at the contract number shows it is indeed someone else's DE BEERS DIAMOND JEWELLERS LTD and They and Cisco are furious because I am trying to use their Contract ID to download software. A call off Broadband Buyer Customer Services on 04/09/14 said it is Azlan's and Cisco's fault but will be rectified by close of business, well it still hasn't and I am without the use of my Cisco Integrated Services Router 887 because without the software upgrade I can not install it properly. Take my advice, read the reviews, physical stock is fine, and I have had stock off them but contracts steer clear, cheap contract prices mean cheap service and their promises are as permanent as a fart in a wind machine!
