“I was given a quote, I finalise the quote and set-up direct debit. In order for it to go through it said I had to receive a call from CS, something no other car insurance company prompts after you finalise the quote. After waiting for a few hours for the call, I found out exactly why this company had this unique method.
They tried to hustle me and pay more money of around extra £500 because this was my first car insurance as Main driver even though this was all indicated in the forms I filled clearly specifying that I had 0 years NCB, never held my own insurance and that I already had 10 years experience as second driver.
Not to mention the advisor was very rude in attempts to rush me in order to make a decision, and I quote "I dont have all day for this, do you want the insurance or not". Being on the verge of accepting the terms as he was very, very convincing, I decided against it, thankfully because he was very rude.
After going back to the comparison site and choosing the next best quote, I saved myself just over £500 and completed the quote online in minutes.

“Applied for car insurance online and received an email saying to wait for a call back or call them on a given number if I need an immediate cover... Tried calling that number like 10 times, every time the guy would just hang up on me! Really? Pathetic customer service. I would cancel my cover straight away if the the fuckers would ever speak to me!!!!”
“I completed the form and there was written that they will contact me, I received about 1 second call! I don't understand, is it their company earning policy for customers to call them back? I didnt get any other call and I called them and when they answered I told what is the problem and they said "let me check if we have some online advisers available, after that there was a song for 15 min. Really??? They are CHECKING for 15 min.??? Ridiculous company! Unbelievable!”
“Got 4 letters in the post saying my insurace wasn't finalised, i had called 5 times and everytime there was a different excuse.
Took me 40 days to recieve a refund and i still haven't recieved it yet. There is always an excuse.”

“It was so long winded and stressful to sort sort infoamtion out with this provider. Once i thought i had sorted everything and 6 phone calls, i recieved a letter saying that i was missing document. So after that i canceled my policy. Waste of time.”

“Overpriced. Waiting 30 - 40 days to receive a refund is ridiculous when I was made to pay £336 up front. Charged £50 cancelation and £34 for 1 weeks worth of cover is shocking. When you phone the customer service team it seems like you are an inconvenience. Not happy at all. Feel like I have been chasing them to process my query. Hopefully will receive my refund soon.”
“How dare you send me review emails when I am still to receive my policy documents. Even after numerous phone calls and even a email to still not receive any confirmation of my insurance, the only correspondence I have had is a direct debit mandate. I want someone to call me regarding my policy asap, before I take this matter to your regulating bodies and ombudsman's along with the watchdog and trading standards!”
