“We had a fantastic holiday in Kefalonia last year - the staff were brilliant (beach and hotel). The only downside was that the hotel wasn’t right in the beach and that its main purpose was for sailing etc - but BeyondBeach now have a new location which is (with sun loungers for when you’re not on the water) and we’re looking forward to enjoying that this year which I’m sure will qualify for a 5 star review. The correspondence pre-holiday has also always been great and the team are quick to respond - you feel like you’re dealing with someone who really does care about the customer experience. There was a little mix up with one of extra packages we pre-booked but they were quick to sort it out and refund.”

“We're a family of 4, with two teenage daughters. We have been on holiday twice now the Beyond Beach team. Each time we had a week sailing with a second week at the Lixouri beach club. Enjoyed both holidays immensely and will be back for more.”

“Super time in Kefalonia last summer. Did the week long live abroad sailing course and then stayed a second week in the Villas up at the hotel. Sports facilities were excellent.”

“We have three amazing holidays with Beyond Beach ( Trek Adventures) Two were learn to sail and then finally we did our first flotillia last year. All the staff involved have always been enthusiatic and have really made the holidays. Big thank you's go to Mark in the office, Shirley, Barry and Maddie with the learn to sail and Erika and Danny who were on the lead boat when we did our flotilla. Would totally reccommend Beyond Beach ( We will always be Trekkies) and we cant wait to do our next Flotilla in July.”

“I spent a 4 night fitness break with Issy staying at Lixouri Bay and can honestly say it ticked every box. The rooms were smart and spotlessly clean with gorgeous views. The food and hospitality were excellent and the fitness sessions with Issy were a fantastic start to every morning. Instructors were on hand if you wanted to use any equipment and they pretty much taught me the basics of sailing in just 4 days. Lovely family hotel run by helpful, courteous team. Could not have asked for more.”

“3rd time for me on flotilla holiday with this company, that must say it all. A brilliant way to sail the beautiful ionian islands without all the hassle. Boats were nicely turned out and back up crewe, Erica and Dan were excellent, we were there twice in 2023 and have booked for 2024. Would recommend.”

“We’ve had amazing holidays with BeyondBeach. We are a family of 5 (3 teenage children) and we have done the Learn to Sail, Flotilla and beach club and we can recommend all very highly! Everything is well organised, and the UK office is extremely helpful with booking and answering any questions. The learn to sail was a great way to get your qualifications while having a lovely holiday in such a beautiful place. We had a fantastic week on flotilla - the lead yacht crew were super friendly and guided us through everything. We stayed in some beautiful places and the daily suggested routes and anchorages gave the perfect mix of great sailing, independence and time relaxing on the boat and swimming in the stunning waters. Our second week each time has been in one of the beautiful villas (managed by lovely Kosta) at the Paliki beach club. Although we were in a villa, we ate most of our meals in the main hotel restaurant - the food is delicious and good value, and Babis and the rest of the hotel staff are like a lovely, friendly family. The water sports activities at the club were very good and we all enjoyed the various different options available. The beach team couldn't have been more lovely and helpful. The local town, Lixouri, is definitely worth a visit - the atmosphere in the evening is great and there is a large choice of restaurants. Thank you to all the BeyondBeach team for such unforgettable holidays!”

“I have done many blitz fitness Kefalonia holidays and they have all been outstanding. The Beach clubs are excellent - well equipped and well organised - a great place to learn to sail ( all watersports) or improve your skills. You feel encouraged to try everything and recieve friendly teaching The hotels are family run places - where the staff want you to have the best time and really care about you. I will return Thank-you”

“Over the last 10 years I have sailed with BeyondBeach (previoulsy Trek-Adventures) three times. They are indeed a very special company. James one of the original owners has always been so friendly and helpful. Professional guidance before booking and fantastic training and support on site. My first adventure was to take the family on a two week holiday. First week on land with dingy sailing ( two grandsons 8 and 10 who had never sailed before) the second week on a yacht learning to sail. A fantastic experience and this choice was guided by James. We returned a couple of years later and booked a two week land based holiday. The boys had great fun and I found people to sail with and when the winds picked up you would find me out on the Hobby Cat on the trapeze, or flying a spinnaker on one of the other yachts. I am still in contact with some of the friends I had made. The third time I took a yacht on one of the flotilla holidays. A bit of a jump into the unknown as the young man I took with me in his 30's had never sailed before. I had my licence but it was rather daunting. James said we will give him tuition for the first couple of days until you feel confident. So that was one of my really dream holidays, responsible for my own yacht but with the back up of professional, knowledgeable and very friendly staff. Plus all of the good things I love about Greece. The friendly people, the lovely weather, and the really good food. If you have not tried this you really must give it a go. So lovely to see this amazing company progress.”

“Stayed at Lixouri Bay Club for one week of beach, dingy sailing and other activities. Then a week doing Day Skipper on a yacht based at Lixouri marina. BB staff and guides were brilliant. The hotel, run by a local Greek family, was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.”

“What a friendly, relaxed, professional, skilled and fun bunch the Beyond Beach team are. A truly beautiful setting to learn to sail in and the hotel staff just felt like family by the end of the holiday. I am a nervous middle-aged novice who was put at ease by Jake's knowledgeable and patient tuition and even plucked up the courage at the end of my course to enter the weekly regatta . My husband, a more experienced sailor just signed out one of the many boats tacked up and ready to go and blasted around the bay. Fun Fun Fun!”

“We stayed at the Lixouri beach club. It’s a brilliant family run hotel with excellent rustic food and welcoming, friendly staff who genuinely want to ensure that you have a great time. The customer service in the Uk was great too and helped us to choose exactly the right holiday. The setting was beautiful with clear, safe water and plenty of choice of watersports and friendly instructors. The other guests were all like minded, friendly, active families and our teenagers loved having a chance to hang out with others in a safe but fun environment. We are already discussing when we can go again! Thank you for such a great week.”

“I have recently returned from an utterly fantastic Ski Holiday in Vaujany. Chalet Saskia is absolutely lovely and in a prime location, just 2 minutes from the ski lift and leisure centre. I will definitely be going back next winter!”

“Definitely recommend Seatrek‘s Intro to Sailing week! I booked the week hoping to make everyone happy as I was vacationing with my teenage daughter and mom who are not sailing enthusiasts but enjoy being on the water. I was interested in gaining more sailing experience. The week did not disappoint! I really appreciated Captain Shirley and her confidence building, learn by doing approach to teaching. I am very much looking forward to the next sailing adventure with the Seatrek team!”

“We just had an excellent week at Paliki beach club, thank you very much trek adventures! Before we went, Mark at head office answered all my endless questions speedily and completely. Their website is excellent with a comprehensive FAQ. There are various accommodations options available, we stayed in the hotel in a spacious triple room though we were 2; it had a kitchen, balcony, and air conditioning. All the staff hotel are wonderful, kind and professional. Breakfast plentiful and delicious. We also had lunches and dinner there as the menu was so good! We did go to dinner a couple of times as there are many restaurants within walking distance (as well as supermarkets). The watersports options were perfect, we learned to sail and windsurf and did some paddle boarding. There is a large area available with very limited interference from other boats which is great when you are a beginner! There is an activity program for the week that you can follow or not as you wish. There are some organised activities for teens and for kids. The beach club staff were amazing, super friendly and very knowledgeable. The other guests there were also very friendly, all similar minded people looking for an activity holiday with a smaller company. I cannot recommend trek enough!”

“Had a good week at the Lazaratos Hotel with Trek Adventures. Watersports were generally good, boats and windsturfing were decent. Hotel staff were friendly and the food served at the hotel was really good. Definitely missed an area where you could do other sports like tennis. The beach is a bit shabby and the sunloungers/parasols were in need of repair. Beach bar was great but they're desperately missing a toilet at the bar, especially if they're hosting drinks down there in the evenings. Hotel was nice but it's very basic and the showers and bathrooms needed a real clean. Mirrors in both of our rooms were cracked and rusty all over, quite a lot of it needed replacing and repairing. Really honestly for what you pay i thought it wasn't at a good enough standard. All the table tennis tables were broken or severly warped. That aside we had a good week, the standard was just a bit below what was expected.”

“This was our first flotilla experience (Constance Bavaria 37'), and we have left the week with fantastic experiences and memories. The staff both off-shore and during the flotilla were very helpful and friendly. The lead boat staff provided us with a lot of good information and tips, and new the area and wind conditions very well. They were such a big help during the docking manoeuvres each and every day and made our life very easy . The tours and locations were incredible (very hot in July)! Please consider making sure that all instrumentation and equipment is functioning properly prior to boat handover (boat speed, boat hook, cabin window, steering wheel, ....). During the hot summer period (July/August) it is essential that the boats are equipped with some ventilation system (simple wall mounted fans in the cabins for example). Or at least include ventilation suggestions in the packing list.”

“Customer service from start to finish was exceptional both in the UK & at Lixouri Bay Beach Club. The beach & hotel teams were amazing and were, like all Kefalonians, super friendly. We had a truly fantastic, fun holiday; met great, like minded people & are already planning our return trip with new friends!! Our 10 year old said it was better than a Disney holiday so what’s not to like? There is something for everyone plus some and the Beach Bites night is not to be missed…”
