Beam had lots of large cracks more than we would expect after drying process
But main issue is the brackets given the weight of the beam they were not very substantial and are 1mm thinner than holes in beam, so beam slips away from wall as nothing to hold it in. Was fitted with two friends both tradesmen who know what they are doing, so followed fitting instructions exactly
