Whilst I was pleased to receive a payment, I’m not happy about the amount that was taken off. HMRC told me they owed me £185 however I received a cheque for only £116.
Surely taking a £70 cut is excessive? I have asked for an explanation but still not received an answer.
I’d still like to know why approximately £70 was taken. I understand you need to take a cut but it seems excessive to me.
