I was delighted with my hair topper, as I still have quite allot of hair so don't need a wig, but my hair is so thin that more "body" makes it look so much better if I am dolled up. The hair topper will also be very handy to cover my grey parting as the dye grows out, and if I need to doll myself up quickly. I never thought that my thin hair would hold a hair topper, and my worst worry is that it would go askew half way through an event, and that I would be left mortified. However the clips hold the hair topper firmly in place even on my super fine and slippy hair. I watched two of the U tube vidio's of real people applying the hair topper, and one was a semi balding hair dresser and I found these demo's most useful. The enclosed wide tooth comb has been very handy. If I had any criticism, I would say that a little page of instructions on how to apply would be good, as I did not at fist realize that I had to ping open the grips, so just put the hair topper on using the closed comb gripper, and thought "this is never going to stay in place", I then realized that I had to bend the combs clips backwards to open them, and then bend them back again to close them. I would not use the hair topper every day as it does pull on the hair as you admit, and might cause further hair loss, but for "dressing up" this hair topper is going to be invaluable.
