"We took the price offered by Premier Care knowing it was more expensive than other local installers. We wanted a bath replaced with a disability style shower and new toilet and new sink unit and new flooring at the same time. We opted for it because of the emphasis on quality and customer service, guaranteed and specialisation in disability. The salesman was convincing. The surveyor was punctual, The installer was helpful, reliable, punctual and polite. It is hard to judge the installation on the basis of a few weeks experience but - with a few minor irritants, (an area of flooring bounces, the shower head leaks, an area of sealant is messy, doors out of line) - it seems successful. The administrative process was less so. The office asked if we would bring the installation date forward. We agreed provided it would be completed by a certain date. This was guaranteed and we were assured the delivery of the sink, toilet, shower tray etc would be made on the following Monday. On Monday the installer arrived punctually. The following day the office notified us that the delivery van had been in an accident, the driver was hospitalised, the contents of the van were inaccessible, and so the delivery was delayed. I was not convinced there had been an accident. On the Wednesday morning the delivery arrived but was incomplete. It was now impossible for the installation to be completed by the agreed date. We had to arrange for access for the installer in our absence. No apologies."
