Bought half a dozen large weatherproof padlocks, made by ABUS, which have been very disappointing. I specifically mentioned they were for a beach hut on a sandbank, to make sure there was no misunderstanding. After 12 months they were not engaging/locking properly and by 18 month 4 out of 6 don’t work anymore. Emailed a Director and told only guaranteed for 12 months, try speaking to ABUS.
