Been using the topper for nearly a year now and loving it. First used it during the intense heatwave last summer and it does indeed have a cooling effect as promised. The opposite is true during winter, I didn’t need my electric blanket at all this year. The cover washes well and is easily removed and replaced. There was a chemically smell when first unwrapped which disappeared after a couple of days airing. The topper has made my lumpy old mattress more comfortable than it’s ever been. Such a good purchase.
