Only one of the "local" suppliers contacted us, but just to say that they no longer operate in the Croydon area. I contacted one of the suggested surveyors myself; agreed a price and when I rang to arrange a date & time for a site visit I was told they'd get back to me in 5 or 10 minutes. 6 hours later I'm still waiting. Presumably so much work on that they're too busy to return a call ! The whole process was a waste of time.
