I paid for a 1-day effort. The team did not bring all the right equipment, especially a long handled sprayer. They did not want to use temporary scaffolding which I offered, and were not prepared to go back to their office to bring back the long handled sprayer. The team told me they were sure it would be possible to arrange to come back for a couple of hours, to complete the days effort, with the spray extension and if I supplied more solid scaffold so they could finish the job. They left site at 13:15. Subsequently, their manager refused to agree to this, and stated that she would be able to book another full day, fully paid, only, for the couple of hours work required to finish the job. It is now clear that the work was over-priced in the first instance and it was not made clear that the team would not be fully equipped when they came on site.
