The service and communications provided by Michael Downton were excellent. We have purchased the King size Alpha Bed fitted with study desk which works brilliantly. On criticism is that the design of the desk metal footplate could be better with predrilled holes set further back, our T&C fitters unfortunately “trashed” the interior MDF side panels as the screws went in slight misaligned and too close to the edge of the panel. This forced them to do a complete FOC refit!!! A bit frustrating for all...there’s no latitude for getting this part of the fitting even slightly wrong. The bed and desk work perfectly and in effect we have purchased what is now an extra dual function room to our property! The only main problem is trying to get suitable fitters who are competent and willing to take on the challenge of the complex fitting of the bed and desk frame (T&C & other recommendations were over 60 miles away). It’s a shame that Hideaway doesn’t have this part of the operation under teams of its own fabricators and fitters.
