I searched for car insurance and the cheapest quote kept coming back at £49.00 per month, a big increase on the £22 per month I had been paying. When i did a search with several companies without using the go. compare website, I quickly managed to find a quote for £23 per month. Lots of time wasted searching on go. Compare, won't be using them again.

WOW this team is a treasure. I was gifted some crypto by my ex-boyfriend about 10 years ago, this was my first cryptocurrency. I became more interest in 2020 when I had over $100,000 in crypto asset, I enjoyed the financial transformation I enjoyed through its profits, this is the moment I became a cryptocurrency enthusiast. In 2022, I made some crypto investments through a website link I saw on Facebook with the feeling of knowing all that has to do with crypto while I was falling for a scam in the process. About $211,000 was at verge of taken away from me when I couldn’t gain access to my crypto asset. I made adequate consultation through channels I presume would be of help, I was made to pay thousands of dollars to regain access to my account which I discovered was another channel to take money from me! While I was dealing with this series of scams, I was having the most unusual conversation with a friend whom I shared my ordeal with, he casually mentioned a team who could help to recover my asset, I was unphased when that was said. Two weeks later, we met at lunch and asked if I had followed up with the team, I answered ‘no’. She walked me to my car after lunch, when I was about close my door, she said I should try out the team suggested. The team’s email was sent to me the following morning and I followed through, few hours later I got a reply! Few details were asked regarding my stolen crypto asset and within a week all of that was recovered!!! I couldn’t hide my joy over the phone when I shared the news with my friend, ‘you did this, thank you!!!’ was all I can say to my friend at the other end of the phone. I was overwhelmed, never thought a team can be as effective as the HACKSPEDITOUS team. This was one of my 2023 highlight, with just an email, I was able to recover my lost crypto asset which I have almost given up on. Really poor service. You cannot get your excess money back. I've forwarded all the details via email but want it on letter headed paper!!! so said they couldn't pay out. This is ridiculous!!!!

Topcashback can show the transaction but go.compare rejected it without reasonable explanation. Poor customer service as well! Very frustrating experience

I’m honestly baffled by these good reviews, it’s been over 9 months and I still don’t have my excess payment back. I leave message after message on my portal, and I’ve now sent emails with no reply. It took 3 weeks to be told they couldn’t open a document I attached, which I sent by email 2 weeks ago and guess what …… no reply. I understand everyone is busy but there are months between replies. MONTHS!! Really wish I hadn’t bothered and most definitely won’t bother doing this again or using go compare

Here is yet another bad review of Go.compare.com's free excess cover claim. Apparently if you submit the relevant documents they pay out your excess or get back to you to update you on your claim within 5 days. The reality however is somewhat different, you'll never hear from them again!!!

I took car insurance out through topcashback via gocompare back in February. Surprisingly gocompare have not paid any cashback even though the transaction was pending. If the deal wasn't there surely it should never be pending! It appears it's another rip off from a big company. Sod the normal people who put you where you are.

There are at least 20 dissatified custmers for every happy one when it comes to GoCompare's "free excess cover". There ain't no free lunch! It should be pretty obvious that very few customers are going to get their excess refunded. The chances of gettting your excess refunded are virtually nil.

Go Compare - GO ELSEWHERE! Bought home insurance with a promise of £30 with topcashback and they have refused to pay out on a totally legitimate claim! How can a large company do this to an ordinary man on the street in times of austerity! AVOID!

£38 TopCashback payment was declined after I took my car insurance policy out through them. GoCompare refuse to look into it - if they say no, that's it - you just have to swallow it. My advice is to use a different comparison site if you want cashback.
