I have suffered with over 50% hearing loss for a very long time. I have been so used to getting by, much to the delight of some of my conversations with my friends and family when I don't quite hear what has been said. I was recently diagnosed with IIH, Idiopathic Intercranial Hypertention, which has not only effected my vision but has had a knock on effect with my hearing as well. I have struggled in my workplace, again due to stubborness and pride with regards to my hearing, but as a result of my illness my work assessed my needs and I was given a Roger Pen system which works directly with my hearing aids and my phone system and it has brought a new confidance to me.
