The 6 kilo forerib of Aberdeen Angus was superb. That made me happy. BUT - I was NOT happy that, despite also ordering a forerib of Dexter beef - and the helpful Karen putting one aside for me - the system overrode that and sent me another 3.2 kilo of Aberdeen Angus. Now I accept that on your website you state the right to send another breed if the one in question is not available. But you should have ASKED! I didn't want a second forerib of Angus - I wanted the Dexter. Eventually, Karen was able to send it to me. So I spent an awful lot of money with you - over £300 for three joints of meat. Had you contacted me to say that the Dexter 'appeared' to be out of stock (it wasn't - Karen had reserved it for me), I could have said don't send another Angus. So although the quality of the meat made me happy - your service did not. I am unsure whether to order from you again. If I want a specific breed - but you don't give me the option if it isn't available - I'm not sure I am confident of getting what I want in future. Incidentally, your request for a review is fine as it stands - but you do not give customers the option of stating what needs improvement!
