To be honest not sure if it was confused.com mistake or Hastings Direct issue. However, I got the quotes but when I picked the Hasting Direct one, used the confused link, I was not able to purchase the insurance, bike insurance, online as suggested. What was worst though was the fact that I rang Hastings Direct to be told that the quote is not valid and that I am not able to purchase that product. The call centre operative tried to say something about the compare websites but the result was that I spent time getting the quote, it seemed to be not accurate and what was the strangest part of it was the fact that the Hasting Direct call operative was unable to tweak it to come maybe with new amount payable but at least with something. It was total waste of time. Also, interesting bit, I found second best quote on different comparison websites so the confused.com which I always liked seems to have only limited number of insurance brokers/companies on offer.
