When I was querying the insurance on the 19th the agent Nathan quoted me a very high price, so I declined it , then he said wait a moment i will get you a reduction and will speak to a manager ( would not let me go) and get back. Nathan came with the discount of £100. I asked him as he explained the cooling off period, he said cancellation fee is £50. The next day I got a better quote and called in for cancellation. The cancellation department Simon told me the charges are now £150 ( not even 15 hrs passed the charge has trippled). I said that is not what I was told, Simon daid he has listen to the recordings and the charge has been informed by Nathan. I am very sure Nathan did not say this to me. Simon said he was going to send me the recordings, but he has not. Since then I have gone to Citizen advice and they have advice me to go to small claims court to claim my money back. They think looking at your terms and conditions you are a scrupulous company and I have chances of claiming not only my money but damages for inconvenience.. They also said they will dig further deep into your other transactions aswell. I am going ahead with the case, where I have been cheated.
