I am just writing to say a huge thank you to David Kendall for his After Dinner Speech at Bury Golf Club on Friday evening. Before the speech he was wonderful company during the meal and his speech was absolutely fantastic. I was still getting compliments on the Sunday evening. David’s delivery was excellent, his stories were clean and he was a rare commodity who could hold his audience without reverting to bad language. As Captain I only get one opportunity to host a “Captains Evening” and David made it a great success and one I will remember for many years to come.
