“A year ago I purchased the SK114 and an eccentric spiraling chunk. OMG I’ll never ever buy any other CHUCK. Still trying to learn the Eccentric Chuck but it’s FUN. So I seen a video on the Essential SK88 and I had to buy one. Yes I’m still married. Truly I highly recommend these CHUCKS. THEY ARE BADASS. Thanks so much Axminster. 👏👏👏👏 I live in New Mexico USA near 4 corners area we have nothing I mean nothing near here. I was a little bit skeptical but fear not it’s an awesome company and great QUALITY.”

“I purchased a expensive powered respirator costing over £250 from Axminster tools in April.Since then it has stopped working twice . It has been repaired once by Axminster but now despite numerous emails to them and a recorded delivery letter to their managing director,no effort has been made to collect the mask or even contact me. I am now left with a mask that is obviously faulty and will be making a claim against Axminster in the County court. Axminster used to be a good company but is now selling rubbish and refusing to honour the guarantees on its products. We will not be dealing with them again ,and I advise anybody else not to either.”

“Just ordered an axminster 305 wtl after a lot of research and I have got to say top marks the lathe came 2 days later unfortunately there was some damage when it was set up but the staff at axminster were brilliant and fast in sorting it out. the lathe itself is far better than I thought it was going to be when running it is so quiet compared to my other lathe the variable speed makes it exceptional and for the price its a real bargain the live centres etc are of great quality and really smooth the little fitted tool rest is also a bonus everything runs really smooth and stands solid on my worktop and it is not bolted down top marks all round”

“Axminster Tools and Machinery have a fantastic team of staff who have been very helpful when I visit the Cardiff store but also on the telephone if I have any questions. They also have a very good website giving detailed information on power tools and hand tools which is informative in helping you decide what you want to purchase.”

“Fantastic company. Love visiting my closest store when possible, and could spend hours in there! Huge choice of tools and consumables ranging from high quality to extremely high quality. Everything is well priced, sometimes it can be quite shocking how well priced some items are! 5* for sure!”

“Spent thousands with this company setting up my wood shop over the last 6months. Last piece of kit was a thicknesser plainer costing over £1600. It arrived uncalibrated and very scant instructions on how to calibrate it. Customers services directed me to a Youtube video produced by one of their customers on how to do this (as they had no idea either)! After spending literally days trying to get it straight I asked for an engineer to come out. Initially they agreed to this but after hearing nothing for 24hours I contacted them again and was told that they had no engineers in my area but 'go and watch this video on Youtube'!! Gave them two options: 1. Send an engineer to calibrate it or 2. Collect it and refund. They opted for option 2. Offered no further help or advice. I even copied in my complaint to their MD and have heard nothing. Left with days of down time and a back log of orders which I can't for-fill until I source a new machine. Very over rated kit and I suspect a lot of the reviews are stooges.”

“I have used Axminster Tools for many years and have found their items good quality and well priced. Their after sales service have always been quick to respond to any queries I have had, although I normally shop on-line, and a trip to their shop is like a day out to a theme park for tool enthusiasts!”

“Used them for years, many many purchases only 2 problems salted ASAP. The tools do what they say, normally good prices. It's the after service that set them above the rest.”
