Instead of paying £50 for the fine Parking Appeals acted on my behalf for a sum of £25 and the parking ticket was cancelled. I’m pleased with the outcome I found the system strange: on the reverse of ticket is procedure to appeal and gives the email address for Parking Appeals. The person appealing then completes Parking Appeals form adding reason for appeal. At the end of form a page asks for £25 even though there isn’t a guarantee that the appeal is going to win, possibly the person appealing may feel frustrated that they may potentially be paying a total of £75.
