Whilst initially we were impressed at the price and package on offer for the Paris Roubaix Sportive, it's when Coronavirus hit and the event was cancelled that things started to go south. Initially, they e-mailed customers offering to either defer their entry when a new date was announced, or provide a cancellation confirmation so individuals could claim through their own insurance. Sounds sensible, until you realise they're a Package Holiday provider and have legal obligations. Further, their own T&Cs state quite clearly what happens when a trip is cancelled by them. Having contacted them about this, initially they refused to budge and it was only after much to-ing and fro-ing that they relented to provide a refund; minus our initial deposit. Again, this sounds fairly reasonable until you read their own T&Cs which state a full refund is given in the event of cancellation. This is all a real shame, as initially they looked like a great little company and were competitively priced, but I'd pay the extra next time and go with a larger company who know what their obligations are and are happy to look after their customers in the good times and the bad. Disappointed.
