My violin arrived with a chipped scroll which could not have happened in transit. I purchased through Ackerman because of their free professional instrument set up but this could not have been done as the chip would have been noticed before shipping.
A new violin was sent but I received no apology or explanation. My experience with Ackerman was disappointing, I don't think I will be purchasing from them again.
