“My review is slightly coloured by the fact that the bike arrived faulty so I have not been able to test it yet to its full potential. First impressions are favourable in that it is a very sturdy piece of kit, however once assembled (about 45 mins) and tested it became obvious that the resistance was faulty, even cycling downhill (at -10%) on resistance level 1 felt like a tough uphill climb. 10 days later, despite a couple of conversations with the ICON helpdesk we have had no one out to fix the bike and no date yet in the diary - pretty poor for a £1k piece of kit. Some other initial views: PROS - it feels very well built, the uphill/downhill feature is really neat, the bike is almost silent and the programmes are multiple and interesting CONS - aside from the fault which I hope will be fixed soon, ifit is difficult to connect to and is only photos rather than video so is a little disappointing, Bluetooth doesn't work for music connections so you have to connect your phone through a cable and jack.”
