“Excellent and fast purchasing and delivery experience from Sweatband.com with great communications throughout. Helpful Covid conscious couriers who carried the heavy cross trainer round the house so it was easy to drag into the right room. Clear assembly instructions. All parts fitted together perfectly and all were present and undamaged in any way. Product is sturdy and after an intial few weeks of use is still smooth and quiet in use with no clunks and a steady resistance. I did need to re-level the back legs a couple of times as it bedded into the carpet and retighted all nuts to stop creaks. In use the dynamic resistance profiles work really well - just as good as the more expensive cross trainers I've used in gyms. The maximum intensity feels really tough and something to work up to. It doesn't link to a heart rate monitoring strap but that's no great loss to me as my watch/monitor constantly displays the heat rate readout. It does read pulse from the static handle bars- takes a fair time to settle though and I mainly just use with a separate chest strap and watch. My legs are quite short and the stride length is fine. Long legged people might need to check other reviews to be sure its ideal for them too. So overall a good product for the price and very pleased.”

“I needed a machine while the gym is closed that didn't cost £3/4k. I was surprised at how good this 2 in 1 is & I actually use it as a 3 in 1. Easy to put together & has a smooth operation. Recommended.”

“It’s a well made machine on the face of it. We had a previous model For about 10 years which eventually had a part break on it which was non-replaceable. So we bought this one. It was easy to assemble and aside from a few moments of confusion figuring out how to plug it in (the socket is down by the rear feet) we had no issues. After a few days of use, the bike started squeaking quite badly. To the point where it was unusable because of the noise. It was hard to figure out where it was coming from, and I thought it was the front foot joint. After a lot of messing about, it turned out to be the connection where the handlebar strut joins the main body frame. After tightening the bolts further the squeak stopped, but it is worrying that the issue will return. Aside from that the functionality is really good. Time will tell after frequent and heavy use whether it stands the test of time.”

“I have been well and truly ripped off by Sweatband! This cross trainer is for sale on York Fitness website for £259, however Sweatband selling for £379 which I paid. In the time since I bought mine a few weeks ago I see the price has now gone up to £479!!! Shame on you sweatband for capitalising on such an awful situation.”

“I am very happy with the cycle Cross trainer. It arrived and took some assembly to put together but this was very simple and manageable and took a couple of hours. It’s great for home use as it doesn’t take up too much room and it has the electronic pad for settings using the programmes or your own manual setting. I would highly recommend this to others looking for a good exercise machine to use at home!”

“Product seemed like the perfect choice for about 5 months of use. Good workout and nice quiet function. In 6th month noise developed inside where the flywheel is housed, on and off to begin with but within a few weeks became very loud and constant. Product was replaced but almost exact same experience with replacement only now the warranty period was over! Strongly suggest consider options with 2 year warranty if you want a durable machine.”
