I bought these several years ago, my wife wanted to claim some space back, so monitor speakers seemed to be the option.
I listened to these before buying, yes I know that this is not always a good indicator of how they will sound in your own home.
Anyway, Bass reproduction is not their forte, although they will fit the bill as a bedroom speaker.
They do have good presence, clarity & cope well if you crank up the volume, but like I said, the neighbors won't be complaining about "DOOF DOOF" coming from your place.
Adding a Sub will over come this some what, but I prefer a good Woofer over a Sub any day of the week.
Considering their price, they deliver a good sound, but I'm now looking for a speakers with a meatier bottom end sound.

I got a second hand pair for 15 quid. There was a bit of colouration in the mid, so I removed thr drivers and added some decent damping (cut up carpet tiles) and replaced the high-pass capacitor (electrolytic) with an audio grade polypropylene. I also replaced the cabling with OFC. Now they sound superb. Especially with classical!
