I had this for my second child and absolutely loved it. She was born in September and with my older child at school it was ideal. I didn't buy one for my first child because people told me that they were a waste of money as I would only use it for a couple of weeks, I wish I hadn't listened to them. I always felt that she was very safe. I loved the fact that she was protected from the great British Weather, she was laying flat and protected from the car fumes. I used this at home for her daytime sleeps rather than bringing the moses basket downstairs. We also went away for a holiday in October when she was only 5 weeks old and rather than taking a travel cot or the moses basket she slept in the dreami carrycot.The only reason that I stopped using it at 5 months old was because she started to roll over. It is very easy to attach to the quinny travel system.
